I really dont understand the animosity toward the HMRC. RM(along with other chairmen) has been paying the wages and selling tickets, etc but avoiding paying over the Income tax, National insurance and VAT to keep the sinking(or is it stinking) ship afloat. Over three years ago he promised that the club would break even.............we can see now that waffle and promises doesnt pay the bills.

...he wants everyone to roll over on the cheap for him as per the local shopkeepers but holds out on everything himself right to the last cheapest minute, joker!

by the way that they have been playing i dont think they deserve to be payed! only a few players do:
scannell
laurent
spencer

none of the others deserve to be payed. until they show passion for the club and show that they want to fight for the club they shouldnt be payed.

A worrying story. If people in my workplace werent being paid, theyd be peed off, upset, stressed, angry. I imagine the Southend players are exactly the same. Macca will surely put in a transfer request end of season, amongst many others perhaps.
