To get to the play offs we need to win games, to win games we need to score goals and to score goals we need to create real chances. I can't see where any of these things are coming from. We have 5 strikers that couldn't hit double figures if the season was 60 games long the form they are in. We create very few chances anyway. Corners rarely clear the front post or first man. Free kicks in the opposition half are taken too quickly and ultimately our static play ends up with the ball being recycled and heading backwards. We hardly ever drop balls into dangerous areas and create any chaos for opposition teams to deal with. I don't see how without and attacking impetus where the goals and results are coming from to takes into a position where play off places are realistic this season

We have the best form of the 4 clubs just outside the play-offs - Solihull are not doing so well.

Only 1 team above has better form over the last 6 games & that is Barnet.

If we take the last 6 games and extrapolate forward another 12 games then the table would look like this ....

1st - Barnet
2nd - Forest Green Rovers
3rd - York
4th - Oldham
5th - Halifax
6th - Gateshead
7th - Southend United
8th - Altrincham
9th - Rochdale
10th - Hartlepool
11th - Solihull

I realise there are issues with the use of the last 6 games as a predictor of future results .......... but this highlights how valuable some consistency could be.

I'm on the fence, so hard to call as we haven't really got on a decent run yet this season, maybe this is the time and if so it could happen, the question is could we cut the mustard in league 2 if it did happen ?

I think you have a decent chance of reaching the bottom rungs of the play off ladder, Col U have improved a lot over the last few games and still have an outside chance of making it, but I feel our early season form will be the death of our chances for this season.
