Scunthorpe had over8,000 against Chester last week, a record for north section.Been watching N&S promo hopefuls and Scunny with their 4000+ crowds in their tight stadium produce a great atmosphere

Getting better support now than they did in the league . Let’s hope

Grimsby is on a par. They have a long road of hundreds of shops, a bit like a shorter version of our London Road, only 2 thirds were shut down, graffitied and vandalised, the last time I was there. And their big name stores have been closing down. I know a lot has to do with losing their fishing industry, but blimey, what a mess. Last year they had a whopping 54% jobless benefit rate. There is absolutely nothing around Scunthorpe. Let alone prem teams.

If we can’t secure the likes of Will Davies over the summer then we may as well say goodbye to our chances of getting out of this toughest of leagues. Totally the right age and profile of player we should be targetingCould really do with Will Davies getting a little knock for Saturday. Then recover in time for us to sign him in the summer. He's out of contract then and at 25 and notching 18 goals this season, could be a great addition. May just be out of our price range though unfortunately. One can hope.
