Good to see ex league teams
Getting better support now than they did in the league . Let’s hope
It’s a generational shift away from nearby prem clubs to supporting your local team

There is absolutely nothing around Scunthorpe. Let alone prem teams.

Thinking about it, there is nothing in the town of Scunthorpe. Got to be in most Shrimpers bottom 3 for a weekender.

Woking are in a fight still at the bottom, if they slip up, they could be in the doo, doo after saturday's league results. But Neither of them play on Saturday, due to the FA Trophy semi Finals, that they are both involved in.

Dale have the, on paper, an easier task in the semi final, so will they rest a few, can Woking afford to rest anyone?

Could be a strange one tonight, result wise here.

Grimsby is on a par. They have a long road of hundreds of shops, a bit like a shorter version of our London Road, only 2 thirds were shut down, graffitied and vandalised, the last time I was there. And their big name stores have been closing down. I know a lot has to do with losing their fishing industry, but blimey, what a mess. Last year they had a whopping 54% jobless benefit rate.

i went to Scunny, once, back in the Tes Bramble days (think Rob Newman was manager 🤔)
what a looooong day that was
and we lost of course
was when they first moved to their new stadium in the middle of nowhere, about 3000 in a 20,000 all seater.
Still gives me nightmares now **shudder**

Could really do with Will Davies getting a little knock for Saturday. Then recover in time for us to sign him in the summer. He's out of contract then and at 25 and notching 18 goals this season, could be a great addition. May just be out of our price range though unfortunately. One can hope.
If we can’t secure the likes of Will Davies over the summer then we may as well say goodbye to our chances of getting out of this toughest of leagues. Totally the right age and profile of player we should be targeting
