A great set of results again. We're now only one point off 7th place. Gateshead lose 0-2 to Tamworth, Halifax lose to Oldham and Eastleigh lose to Southend. Rochdale can only draw at Maidenhead.

We just need Barnet to spank Altrincham this evening.

Games are running out and we have a game in hand over Gateshead and we have to play them! They are the ones to catch. Rochdale have to lose both their games in hand and would still be 1 point and 11 goals better than us so that's probably unlikely. Halifax are 6 points ahead on the same games and that's a big gap to close in 8 matches. Tamworth, Altrincham and Eastleigh can't be discounted either.

Agree with you on Gateshead and Rochdale, but six points in 8 games to catch Halifax, more than possible.

To catch anyone in the time those games span, needs them to drop points. But their goal difference would disappear by losing two games more than us, as it's only 3 better than ours, whilst ours would grow, so goal difference works in our favour.

We have now taken 4 points out of them in the last two games and they have now lost two on the trot. Do that again and the pressure mounts tremendously on them.

In short Halifax are as catchable as Gateshead and if we keep winning, the pressure on them grows.

We know what we have to do, they are the ones who have the pressure in having to respond if we deliver.

Yes indeed. Halifax have a relatively easy run in but Gateshead have a tough run in playing Barnet, Forest Green and York in addition to us.

Rochdale may still slip up due to fixture congestion. In addition to their ten league games they are still in the FA Trophy. 11 games in six weeks.

if this time next week arrives with us having six points a few trams a around us have dropped a few points I will start believing.

We have some crazy luck with the results going in our favour alot lately. We just have to keep wining and we will be there.

A tall order, but we’re taller……..
