Any move for him is a good move and a bit off our wage bill I suppose. I dare say we will be subsidising him at Stockport tho. He needed some half decent performances to get the fans on his side and never looked likely to me. Lets hope it gets his career started at Stockport or there is only one way I fear.

they have just sent ishmael demontagnac and stephen husband back to blackpool so they must of freed up the wages to get pato that way

Probably more to do with Stevenage's training schedule.

I reckon the lad will do well. Maybe being forced out of the club if reports on here of not being paid & not even getting games at reserve level.

Good luck to him. He is another in an ever increasing line of players /mostly strikers that fail to do well here and then do well elsewhere.

He was quite highly thought of at saints and i honestly believe he could hit 20 goals in the league with a good run in a side.

Hopefully we can now bring someone in as we are desperately short upfront.

Pato to Stockport

Nothing on the official site yet but Sky sports reporting that Pato has been loaned out to Stockport apparently he turned down Stevenage to move there.

I am reliably informed it is a months loan deal - nothing permanent, he just wants to go and play football and get himself and and sharp again.

He also had various other offers, including Stevenage, Torquay and possibly Walsall but he wants to play and not be stuck on a bench for the month, Stockport was the best option for games.
