We wrapped up victory nicely, bowled them out for 74 and made it in 10 overs which will give us a nice start on NRR. Ex-England player Bullivant held his bat but we were pretty ruthless in taking out the other 10 for 14 runs, 2 wickets per bowler other than Suthers + run out.

By my reckoning it's the second best team in the division next week, win that and I'm probably pretty much promoted.

Nick says enjoy it while it lasts.....

He's currently 107-0 chasing 245 against the relegated team.

12/10/2007 (OD League) DIBS DIPPERS v Whos your Daddy

Oh I think tounge is very much in cheek ;)

Mine is shaping up to a tasty finish, O'connor doing half his job, but could just do with him winkling out a couple

Could have done with another wicket, but O'connor's done his job, now can the rest of them keep it below 8 an over !

100 partnership up for me, 170-5 needing 203.

Trouble is their best bowlers are just about to resume and I've next to no batting once these two are out. This has annoying defeat written all over it. I needed to bowl them out for 185. Their bloody no.11 had the temerity to hit my best bowler for 6. Things like that are costly!

182-5 at the 40 over mark - now watch those wickets tumble! I give it 3 balls.

Survived that first over, third ball went for a leg-bye, the others went for a single. Next over has nearly done it for me

41.4 4 Tomkins to Ramsden
Like the mighty warriors of ancient Japan, Ramsden has unleashed his blade, and swiped the unworthy bowling away. That's hara-kiri from Tomkins!
41.3 1 Tomkins to Thomas
Lady luck is smiling on Thomas as his mi**** sails to wide fine leg.
41.2 1 Tomkins to Ramsden
Tip and run to Petty in the covers. He was a bit slow onto that and the batsmen were well home before his throw came in.
41.1 4 Tomkins to Ramsden
Tomkins can't believe that has gone for four! You won't find that shot in any textbooks, but it was certainly effective.
