I'm still yet to be convinced by the Payne love-in.

If we lose this game today then I think Saturday's match will be make or break for Brown.

Who could we realistically attract who will do any better with a threadbare defence?
 
Well this is'nt the news I wanted to wake up to. :thumbdown:

I see we've had most of the possesion but getting beaten for pace.

It's not just the fact that we have a threadbare defence, but the fact that we've gone from a fantastic position at christmas to potentially out of the playoffs, we have no clarity regarding our best formation and team, we have pretty much every player except maybe Bentley and Leonard under-performing and if we don't go up this season then it's only going to be harder next (assuming the ground news doesn't result in a major upturn in our finances).

Brown appears to have lost the squad and lost the plot. Ron has never been one to fire a manager without someone else lined up... and I wonder if he's been manoeuvring and the recent interview is his way to highlight to a potential replacement that the ground is nearly here.
