I do agree that we're like a ship without a rudder at the moment but I do think the injury to Prosser has caused us major problems. I personally don't think Mark Phillips is good enough anymore and although he played alright on Saturday I'm still not convinced by Adam Thompson. Wouldn't have signed him permanently. Brown's been very unlucky with O'Neill and Bolger getting injured when they're covering other injuries. I don't think a change of manager will help this season

Couldn't agree more. Defence injuries have cost us big time while Thompson and Phillips are not good enough. Changing managers is pointless.

We didn't do much the season after we dumped him either.If you remember he had bad spell of injuries after he left us.

No we didnt, and we wouldnt have done any better with Gray just because he was "quick" either.

Straker isnt there to score goals is he, Hurst has scored and created far more without his pace. Still at least Straker is quick...

Pace is a great attribute, as long as you bring something else to the table.

Did add a different option and will always remember the overhead goal against Port Vale and the goal against Bristol City, but I was never his biggest fan.

He contributed well, plenty of assists, had his limitations but then again 95% of players we have had are nothing special

Just to clarify, I'm not saying we should change managers. I just wonder how patient Ron will be, and if he can afford to let this season slip away. We're not just a loanee defender away from suddenly looking like winning, we have too many players playing badly and that downward momentum is so difficult to reverse.
