the lamb has been slaughtered.....not Browns fault its all Rangers, he has pointed his tango coloured finger at someone else to save his own arse...will they get rid of Anton as well for turning up and trying to play when he should be arrested for trespassing on the pitch.....don't get me wrong Ranger was not playing that well and his track record is not good but lets not be fooled others should go as well

Others can be released of course however we would be required to compensate them unless there is a contractual clause to the benefit of the club.

Lets also be clear, this is purely Rangers fault. He is a disgrace to the footballing profession and does not deserve another chance even at semi-pro level.

Anton puts in effort even if his legs are gone, comparing him to Ranger is unfair. This looks like a year too far but we were just as leaky as this year before he joined, if we hadn't signed Anton last year we'd probably have been in a relegation fight. In any case you can't sack players for being in poor form so we'd have to pay up his contract in full if we wanted to get rid, which seems a bit pointless.

Half his trouble is he is torn between Gangsta and footballer. He should have moved away from Tottenham last year. Got away from bad influences in London, and his time keeping would have been better.

is that the contract extension for the player who's legs had gone by the end of last season and the good thing is we can have him for one more just for luck.....great thinking by the Tango man

Well that's a cop out

So you wait until it all comes out and then say you knew all along

Not what I meant. I mean the whole Ranger affair. For example PB wanted to drop Nile for that home game v Sheffield United for non playing reasons.....Someone above him disagreed.

It's a real shame that Ranger didn't take the opportunity with a club/manager/chairman/fans who were willing to give him a chance after his troubled (to say the least) past. Well, actually I mean about 10 chances yet he didn't take it. There is nothing anyone can do for this bloke.

If he ever gets a football league club wanting him again I would be surprised, no doubt a non league club will take him but not only has he thrown his career away but what about the money he's NOT going to earn anymore. Total madness. Makes no sense at all.

All that being said, I personally think he's had a shocking season and played terribly!!!!

No one comes out of the Nile Ranger saga with any credit. Fans, chairman, manager, all need to take a very long look at themselves in the mirror. We are a morally bankrupt club and the curse of Nile Ranger will continue to haunt us for the rest of the season. Brown facilitated Rangers prescence at the club and Brown needs to go to redress the karmatic balance.

A measured and sensible response.

whenever I've seen Nile play, I thought he looked very comfortable on the ball. Didn't always get the service either.
Definite potential there & just hope someone can harness it & that he doesn't go off the rails. Maybe it confirms a rumour I've heard, that messi & Ronaldo are arriving on loan later this month

Brilliant!

That's my christmas present ruined. Anyone know if the club will replace my shirt? Got an away shirt with Ranger on the back.
