So we've gone for the cheapest design in the Nike catalogue whilst at the same time increasing the end sale price by a couple of quid.

Nothing surprises me with this club anymore :nope:

And neither should it. The above seems like a sensible approach for a strapped-for-cash organisation to take when they can be pretty confident of selling a certain number of units on each release.

A business that has severe cashflow problems buys a product on the cheap and then goes on to sell it for a profit. HOW VERY DARE THEY!!

You're basing this on the assumption that the end price does not affect the buying decision, but from the look of the poll, the product + the end price is putting people off.

Simple rule of business, you can say something is worth whatever you want, but something is only worth what people are willing to pay for it, and i think the combination of price hikes, plus an unpopular design will harm profits rather than help.

Looking at the Nike range and I can't find one I actually like and would consider buying. Even if this shirt was put up for sale at £30 I wouldn't buy it. It seems that the price has been decided by someone outside the club, as posted before, all club's shirts are at £42.50.

So if the end price can't change, and the alternatives to the chosen design are poor (my opinion) then there isn't much left for the club to do. There will always be 2 types of people buying the kit, people who will always buy it for whatever reason and those that like the style, so a better poll would have had more choices as to WHY they have decided to buy it or not to buy it.

JustSport make the prices.

I want this one!!

I have been informed by someone in the know, that this is going to be next seasons away kit unfortunately!

The club shop (Just Sport) are trying to persuade the club to change it as they know that it will not sell well!
