I like it. Plain and simple. Not some garish crap that everyone will look back on in ten years time (fade kit) and think OMG..what on earth did they look like.

Prefer a lighter blue and agree it does not show up well under lights.

What a boring boring shirt. Seriously, is that the best Nike had to offer?

Will not be purchasing.

I just tweeted this but;

If you're a parent and you want to buy a full Southend kit for your child with a name on the back it'll cost you £73. Any takers? No?

Disappointing - could live with the plain, but how about a bit of design in the style with a collar or v neck?
Just looks like a real cheap material, unflattering cut and just plain boring.
I do wonder who makes these decisions - surely the whole reason for bringing out a new kit is for new sales - cant see this flying out the shop. :thumbdown:

Well...it's not fussy is it? If it was being worn with white shorts I think it would look rather good. But, once again, it's a balls up and we'll be wearing all navy. Precious little the club get right is there?

So if I want to get a long sleeved one with 'Straker' on the back I will be forking out close to £60 ,disgusting. Bring back the days of Beaver and Elonex!

£72 I believe if you want to buy a full kit with name for your kid. Disgusting.

What would you say is a reasonable price?

Personally for a 6 year old Id say £20 was a more reasonable figure for the shirt. £35 for something that will last him a year at most is a lot.
