NH has turned out to be an awful signing. We signed him to score goals not **** about as community relations. He is a nice bloke though

He has been injured, not his fault!

I'm sure his disproportionately large wage is cushioning the blow for him.

Neil Harris maybe one of Southend's highest wage earners but I suspect his wages are disproportionately low to what he was earning at Millwall and has done throughout most of career.

So far it has not worked out for Neil and probably no one is more frustrated about this than him

If Harris had played in the Gillingham side all last season, how many goals do you think he would have scored?

That's not what the question was though, it was "IF" he had played all season. Not that I see much point myself in asking the question!

If he had played all season for Southend, how many would he have scored?

Both pointless questions as he was injured and we don't have a crystal ball.

How many goals would Rooney have scored playing for us? All so pointless.

T o be honest its not his fault he was injured, lets just hope he is able to get a good preseason in and be trouble free this upcoming season.Corr came back so why cant Harris.A fit Harris and Eastwood would help make Southend a team to be feared along with a fit Corr and hopefully Tomlin,All PB would need to do is get the defence and midfield in order. When you look at it realistically Southend do have the neucleus of a very good side.

Harris is 7 years older than BBBC and played at a higher level. Those years take their toll.

Not a case of laying fault or blame, but the fact is he is at an age where injuries can be a problem. Hopefully he can contribute more next season if still here, but its hard to have any real confidence he will be fit enough.

The blame lies with the club by giving him the deal.

I cannot understand why this club fails to learn from past mistakes when signing older players on long deals.

I can't understand what peoples problem is with Harris, he has been out injured all season so cannot be judged really. Going forward in an interview Phil Brown said he see's Harris as his Dean Windass type player we need a player like him in the squad, his experience to help young players and he still has the ability to hit the back of the net if he can keep himself fit.

Beginning of the season before we got Britt people really wanted to him and Freddy or him and Corr so whats changed just because of an injury? He is a Southend fan and will want to fire us out of league 2

I'm a southend fan but you really wouldn't want me playing upfront for us.......

The problem people have is that he has been out all season.

He may want to do well for us, but if he never plays thats not going to happen.

Its not his fault, but thats why people are frustrated.

Wow, you're predicating next season's success on a fit Harris, a fit Eastwood and a fit Corr ? Do you feel lucky ?
