Question Moncur & Bonne...time to cut our losses and get rid?!?

This thread is almost the reverse of "thanks Kev" in that thread we are where we are because we lost OK and HC, this one is because we signed GM and MB.

Just my opinion but HC had a great season last term but would he have repeated it this time with no service? The team is bigger than OK and we still have the majority of players who dragged us through hell last year.

GM showed early on what he is capable of but quickly adopted the same negative backwards passing game as the rest of the team, I think he is capable of far more.

Jury out on Bonne for me as he has missed some great chances but while we continue to take 30-40 passes to get the ball anywhere near the opposition goal and they have time to make a cup of tea and come back and pack the penalty area what is he supposed to do?

Our problems IMO are far deeper than losing OK & HC or blaming it all on GM & MB.

Your post will no doubt inspire a whole host of excuses and justifications for the current predicament from those who defend Maher & Co. The only excuse I haven't seen used yet is no onions in the burgers

I agree with this, I do see some of the viewpoints put forward but can't buy into the fact our whole season was derailed because we lost Cardwell and Kensdale. Cardwell yes, big loss but we have got in Walker, Bonne (who have played at a higher level) and Pepple (who is proving to be a gem). Different players but still capable ... you'd have thought.

Kensdale was good at bringing it out of defence but was hardly Van Dijk was he. Good prospect yes but it puzzles me how we've not been able to get a decent loan CB in .. in fact there seems to be a shortage of quality loan players available full stop all of a sudden, you wonder if Stan going has any bearing on that. Crowther hasn't come on as quickly as hoped I don't think, that can't help. I'm assuming (hoping) that Kev has a player in mind who he really wants at CB ..
