Dick Bate's Protege
Minister for Equality
Not bothered really, good player but completely self centered in all his actions with the club barring his obvious rapport with the fans.
Legend? Never...

Well put mate.I'm willing to give Bilel the benefit of the doubt, particularly as we are yet to know any real facts about his absence from pre-season, the wedding, etc. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have been with us beyond the transfer window anyway. Unlike some I've never met him, but by all accounts he has always cared about the club despite his neurotic behaviour, and I think it's likely his agent has brainwashed him to some degree.
I'll always have fond memories of his time with us. I remember the first time I saw him play; he had me in stitches. Watching his puppy-like enthusiasm made me wonder if he'd won a fans competition to play 90 minutes for his favourite club.
Can he play at the highest level? Probably not, especially as opposition players and fans will succeed to wind him up more than at any time with us, but he has the talent if he can focus - playing in a set position will help. His trial period will be intriguing as Ramadan starts on Friday and doesn't finish until mid-August, so it won't be easy adapting to training with a Premier League side during his month of fasting. I wish him all the best, personally.
Thing with Bailey is we were his "dream move" when he moved from Barnet, then Charlton were his "dream move". No doubt Middlesboro were also his "dream move".
I can't find anything to back things up but I have a feeling that Bailey did refuse to sign at first but was the first of those who did refuse, to eventually sign, presumably because he was offered something decent. I remember having a conversation with a *ahem* certain Irish gentleman , before he himself refused to sign, about Bailey's refusal.
Interesting reading some of the comments on here about respect to club or lack of it. I wonder what the Coventry fans think of Eastwood?

Agreed, no problem with that, it was the "dream move" thing though that I think really got people riled. The main thing is that Bailey has consistently gone up in his career. He's a quality player and so each move has worked for him.
No Good Luck message from me.... Loyalty is in my books no. 1....
Look at Grant.... when the club was in dire straights and players were jumping ship all over the place he stayed put....
Now his a player that we will not get a fee for but deserves all the "Good luck" wishes he has received....

Simple, what are your feelings towards Mohsni?
:dim:
How long does a player have to stay for to be deemed loyal ?
He isnt even in our first team so not sure why he should feel he should just stay here if he can get a move to a bigger club.
