Good luck to the player if he wants to better himself, nowt wrong with that, what i fail to understand is his reluctants to come back and train with us. What does he think going to happen, also i assume we are still paying his wages, and is still contracted to us.The Club statement doesn't say that he has refused to turn up for pre-season. It says that he wants to move on, that his Agent has got him a trial at a Premier League club and that therefore Mohsni is reluctant to come back.
We don't know if it has gone as far as the Club ordering him to come back and Mohsni refusing.
My main issue is the disrespect. He obviously wants to move to a bigger club, and there is nothing wrong with that.
But if the club statement is true, he has stayed in France when under the terms of his contract he should have reported for pre-season training. With the fans wondering where he is, this has put the club in the position of declaring that he hasn't come back, meaning any fee we get for him will be decidedly less because clubs know we can't keep hold of him now.
After the club stuck by him through thick and thin, the very least he could do is go through the proper channels, ie return to training on time as his contract dictates, hand in a transfer request and continue giving 100 per cent for us until he gets the move he wants. The fact he seems to feel he is above this standard protocol is a two-fingered salute to the club and therefore the fans.
Close the door on your way out.

One of the nicest players you would ever wish to meet a true credit towards the fans but as a professional he lacked direction
A criticism of those who might have directed him better ?
A criticism of those who might have directed him better ?
can we please put this 'does not want to play for us' into context
His agent has advised him that he is good enough for championship, in fact he has managed to get him a tial at a premiership club. How often does tha happen to second div footballers?
He wants to play for a decent side , may be if we were a decent side he would want to play for us ?- He is not looking to move sideways, he wants to move upwards , who can blame him for that ?
Many of our players maybe do not have the desire to play at championship levels, or in some (many?) cases simply do not have the talent to do so . He ahs the desire and on his day has the talent . If it all fails at least he will have tried
and lets stop the legend bashing he is getting. One, maybe two people have said it and thats it , so it clearly is not the view of most fans as has been made clear on here. By mentioning it just brings our more anti Moshni feelings and rhetoric
