Good luck, gave his all most of the time and entertained us during one of the most tedious spells of football ever.

Not devastated he is leaving and hopefully he impresses elsewhere so we get ££££

Bit of both for me. Enjoyed much of his time here, but refusing to turn up for pre-season not acceptable, so gone for good riddance, but hopefully thanks for a half decent fee

Definitely good luck.
Liability yes , but good entertainment and mostly tried his best.
He is still very very green though in terms of being a professional footballer and as much as I have been entertained by him in the past two seasons , I will be AMAZED if he makes it in the premier league.
IMO if he gets anywhere near the starting eleven ( for however they may be ) , he will be shown up a little.
Hope I'm wrong and wish him all the best

A bit of both no one bigger then the club lets hope we get good money for him ( but have a feeling we wont )but best of luck to him.

The Club statement doesn't say that he has refused to turn up for pre-season. It says that he wants to move on, that his Agent has got him a trial at a Premier League club and that therefore Mohsni is reluctant to come back.

We don't know if it has gone as far as the Club ordering him to come back and Mohsni refusing.

One of the nicest players you would ever wish to meet a true credit towards the fans but as a professional he lacked direction

Real talent, gutted but no player is bigger then the club

Good luck to him, because I think he is going to find it a different world out there. I have loved him being with us (most of the time) because we all love 'a character', but if his heart is not with us 100% then it is better that he goes and hopefully we get some money for him.

Based on the fact he tried hard for us (sometimes too hard) and had some talent I say good luck, but I'm more than happy to see him go based on his attitude and the fact that when he's on the pitch the team tend to play the easy long ball up to him rather than keep it on the deck.

Think this is a positive move for all parties involved.

Mixed views at the moment. Really enjoyed watching him here, most exciting player since Gower and Eastwood, but now he is basically doing a Nicky Bailey, which has made me very angry.

To summarise, Bart.

Totally agree.
It takes much more than signing autographs for the kids to become a real footballer , but he still did it for ages after games when some of the other 'so called stars' did their 5 minutes with faces liked a slapped arse.
As I said , you need a bit more than 'being nice' to make it , but if you want to get the next generation of fans onside , then a few others should take a note from him.

Pretty much sums it up for me, well said Dan.

All this talk of legend is tripe IMHO. How can he be compared to the likes of Best, Anderson, Hollis, Maher, Tilson et al. THEY are legends not some 5 minute butterfly.

What he had in some areas like the fan interaction he was the best and players should learn from him but when it came to being a dedicated hard nosed side he did not have a clue

As it stands he hasn't gone he is still a southend player i hope he gets what he wants hes worked (to) hard, i fink a move to a bigger club would help him develop ie better ppl. more money/time with him, at the end of the day he wants to betta him self, who dosent, more money, betta life style etc, good luck to him

Good luck, but I feel the time is right for all parties for him to move on.

I hope he does well and that we have a big sell-on clause.

I hope everyone reads this comment and takes it on board. It's so easy to condemn when we don't know the facts.
