A Bit of Fun Mildenhall to Millwall

Why? We aren't giving them any money, so what does it matter what our finances are like? They're not a bank, and they haven't loaned us the money.
We aren't giving them money, but they are investing money and expecting a return, I doubt many businessmen would invest money without knowing what they're investing it to?

Are they investing? Or is the money that is being "invested", actually the money for the Roots Hall site?

The fact that they have gone to the trouble of being listed as co-developers of Fossetts Farm, and that they have taken on the responsibility of the S106 payment (tying it in to the redevelopment of their London Road store) suggests strongly IMHO that they are now a lot more deeply involved than just purchasers of a (large) plot of land.

They've put money into a deal with SUFC, they've invested that money, if not in the club then certainly in the project, the project that relies on what happens to the club either way.

Not really here for much of a debate, I just can't see Sainsbury's handing over a 7-figure check without knowing the state of the club that they're investing in or around.

I have also heard that Mildy will be joining Millwall. Jackett has wanted him for a month or two now. Sees him starting season as back-up to Forde, but also sees him edging Forde out in the long run.

Not too sure how I see Mildy doing in the CCC myself.....

Just spoke to a friend who supports Millwall. He reckons they are about to sign Mildenhall and Francis
