And from what i remember he only had about 1 shot all game. Not good stats for a striker.

harrold anh hoops had more than enuough chances and poor ritchie foran has had hardly any and when he has played he has been played out of position

Just seems a bit slow our Foran,in a position where we need speed.BUT,he can certainly be a tough character out there.Funny thing is,when Foran had his golden chance upfront he got himself sent-off

It's just annoying that we can't make up our minds about him one last time to see if progress has been made with the lad.

Harrold's time here hasn't been a joy,let's face it!
Playing with Eastwood and Clarke,you just don't get a bl00dy pass from those two no matter how hard you run!

We are down to the bare bones and i can't believe that Tilly & Brush are looking at the loan market when they have two fit players still in contract under their noses who they won't give a chance to!!can't make it out!

Probably not - there are lies , damned lies and statistics - none of them should be applied to MH - he deserves at least another 43 full appearences imho to realise his full potential .

matt harrold has never shown this club anything to prove he is even football leauge standard yes he puts in the effort in most games he plays but effort is not good enough when you havent got the skill get him out the club as soon as possible would be the best for everyone in my eyes

Bringing Harrold back into 1st team football would be nothing but a backwards step! Yes, we are thin on the ground of players, but surely this would have been half expected as we have a stadium to pay for! However, players we have got in my opinion have a lot more about them then Harrold does.

He found his level at Witham last pre season. How many more chances does he need to show what he cant do!? Players like Hooper got a sub appearance if lucky and Harrold gets pretty much a whole season if not longer!!

Like Mick and a few others have said, he hassn't scored in a league game for god knows how long. I might be going crazy but surely the point of a striker is to score? Yes hooper scored in a league below but surely he was worth a gamble? I'd like to think had he not been sold then we would have given Hooper a chance, like we gave Harrold.

I for one will not be disappointed if i never see Harrold in a Southend shirt or on the pitch at Roots Hall again.

Yes it has been done to death and this is the first time i have posted on the Harrold saga. As a STH i am sick to death of seeing someone run around with no end product. Which is what you get in my opinion with Harrold. League One is not his level! At least with the other strikers we have at the club they get into positions where they can create an attacking move. It may not come off but, they offer us an option which i dont think Harold does.

Oy - stop calling me a joker ! And I fully agree with your take on MH btw - I feel the guy was hard done by despite Mick's undeniable truth that he had a fair chance to prove himself - I feel its just a confidence thing myself ( at least that's what my missus tells me )
