Matt Harrold - time for a comeback ?

CC51DAS

President
With injuries still playing a part ,a potentially gruelling schedule ahead and players due to go back after their loans have finished , is it worth giving MH a run out in one or two of our last matches , just in case we need him at Wemberly ???

Who knows he might form a great partnership with Barney and may even score a goal

Yes, let's play Harrold in a key game that could mean the difference between promotion or play-offs.... after all, the man is prolific.

Rubbish call!

Whilst Harrold has been an undoubtedly poor signing, I find it quite frustrating that he's been completely chucked out of the equation right after his best game for the club (Yeovil at Home). He had so many poor games when Tilly refused to drop him but then he goes and has a stormer and he's banished from the club. All very backwards!

Those who went today - how did Revell and Walker play ? - didn't sound like they did much from the bits I heard on the radio - although they might have been stunning in the last 7 minutes for all I know

Walker was a little blinkered imo, often missing the easier pass, to take a man on and then run out of options. Revell held the ball up well and some of his link play was tidy. Perhaps a little too predictable though. He still needs games and should start alongside Hoops ino next Saturday, with Barney on the bench, alongside walker.

Depends whether we seriously want go for the win or not !!

As it stands we have Carlisle home 12th and away Friday 16th - but lose and we could end up at Forest or Doncaster.

Dilemna but either way it will probably be Leeds, Forest or Donny in the final.

Wembley Sunday 25th. Lifetime's dream is still well alive. Cardiff was superb but Wembley must be a different league.

Bring back Harrold!

He deserves another chance in my eyes.Putting him in with the kids is a ****ing joke.

His last game for us he was superb. The 'keeper made some great saves from Matt before he was wrongly sent off.Harrold was a real threat the last game he played and showed that he really can cut the mustard. He has Championship experience, aint slow and is better than Revell and should be given another try-out while the games don't matter and the squad is still thin.

Bloody shame he got injured because it would have been interesting to see him play after getting a standing ovation from a disbelieving Roots Hall.If he gets one in the net early and the fans get behind him i think the kid would do well and might be a brilliant foil for Barnard, like he was for Leon.

Take off those blinkers Tilson and grow some bo££ocks and sling him in.We've gotta pay the kid anyway!
