Nail on the head. And the muscle you relax to livestream also holds in beer farts. Thats always annoying waiting for that feeling to pass :smile:

Surely they will have covers on the pitch? I know when it's ice the surrounding areas come into play but this cant be the case for rain?
 
Just went down to get tickets for Mansfield and they have sold out of the ones we had. They are hoping to get some more around lunchtime tomorrow but they have basically said no tickets available on the day whatever!

* Update *

Just spoke to Mansfield Town - originally we had around 400 tickets they think and they asked us if we needed more but we said "no" - SUFC then phoned them yesterday to say we do need more as had to turn quite a few people away! So they are sending them down for tomo in case anyone was thinking of picking them up today.

If for any reason SUFC dont get extra tickets tomo the Mansfield lady said we would have to give money to SUFC and pick up tickets down at Mansfield. She did confirm you wont be able to buy any tickets on the day for the away end whatever

Well, got my ticket now. I do hope they (Mansfield) don't try to shoe horn 400+ fans into an area suitable for 410 people...... whilst the other 400 seats are empty and we are told we can't spread out because the other seats are dangerous i.e health and safety. :nope: :facepalm:

I presume that the game earlier on this week was also about trying out a different formation so that Brown and Penney can change the team style on Saturday should they find the team being a little lethargic or lacking a cutting edge. All sounds good to me. :thumbsup:

Cripes! Hope the game isn't too exciting - don't want her bursting her waters all over the place ......... that really would be a health and safety issue! Besides which it might distract from you watching the game ...............:blush:
 
Anyone know how many extra tickets we are getting? As the original allocation has sold out.
I will try and phone the ticket office if I get a chance. Must be others out there without tickets?

My guess is that 400 were physically posted down to SUFC to sell. Any that are sold now you'll have to collect from Mansfield on the day. Just phone up the ticket office I'm sure they'll be selling more.

Yep. Been to games in the past where "there are no tickets on the day" and then found I could buy a ticket 15 minutes before kick off. Mind you past experience is no guarantee that this will be the case on Saturday but a telephone call should sort out the matter.
 
guys , see my post re ticket update at end of page 3

the bloke on ticket office did suggest if i couldnt get down on Friday to buy ticket , they could send them out for Saturday, did explain that may be a a bit late as actually have to get to Mansfield by 3!

Pretty sure their away end can hold around 2K, so will be royally peeved if this happens!
