forecast Saturday looks like heavy rain - notice Mansfield last home game last Week was called off
heavy rain for rest of today, heavy rain overnight from 5pm tomorrow until 9am Friday, then more heavy rain Saturday...i'd say big chance of postponement

I found this really interesting in todays friendly against Spammers :-

“Jack Payne played just in behind Lee Barnard and Freddy Eastwood and they all linked up well."

Seeing that PB must be as concerned as all of us with our lack of league goals. I think we've scored 11 in the last 10 League Two matches...........and that includes 3 against Chesterfield. Would we dare start against Mansfield like this? What formation would we be likely to play (for those with more technical knowledge than myself) and perhaps more importantly who would we drop from midfield?

I think PB will persevere with his 444/451 for now, it has put us in a good league position and we do not concede goals. I still have an issue with our goalscoring capability and maybe a change in formation is the answer......in PB we trust I suppose, but personally I would like to see a 4-4-1-1 with freddy floating in the hole behind barney.

AAS boys have already booked train tickets and will be up there by 11am, booked on a train back at 5.45pm. Could be a long afternoon in the pub!

I have contacted Mansfield regarding the weather/pitch situation.

Apparently the pitch is looking fine at the moment but they are due rain for the rest of the week. There is a 50% chance of rain on saturday.

I like the idea of 444 - hope the referee doesn't notice though! :winking:

Weather does not look too bad.Few of us going up by car.Fingers crossed game goes ahead

We are on the train an hour after you so have us 12 beers waiting please kind sir!
Same train back though, Beers in Carriage B from Nottingham!

How many cubicles are in the away end toilet, i get stage fright and also predict needing a half time **** in order to create room for beer
I hate that when your busting for a pee, queue for a few minutes, get a small space at the stinking overflowing trough of a urinal, get set then..........wait for it............wait for it...........finally after a possibly embarrassing wait the live streaming starts, utter relief. is that stage fright?
