Manager Sacking and Appointment Thread

If you read his comments after the match it makes more sense, he publicly said the squad is crap. Looking at their squad that's probably true but a club isn't going to want a manager that's thrown in the towel already. It reminds me of how Phil Brown seemed to have given up last season.
see being honest dosent pay, I think the owner and directors at Bournemouth need to taake a good look at themselves to be honest .

Dundee manager still there !!!!!!
I have a soft spot for Dundee. Saw Carol Decker singing in a bar, they had a cheap casino and it’s doable in a taxi from St Andrew’s, where the golf is also cheap compared to rip off England

Yes I’ve since read his comments, it seems he wants them to spend and they want to live within their means so are at different ends of the spectrum

I always look at the club's forum when someone gets sacked because the fans will know more than people that probably haven't paid any attention to how Parker was doing prior to his sacking and the Bournemouth fans seem very happy to see the back of Parker. It's easy to look at the results and think it's an odd decision but if the fans don't seem bothered there's probably something more to the decision than an outsider can see.

Chelsea are playing awful football right now but they've bought so many new players in it's ridiculous Tuchel wasn't given time to turn things around.

Bonkers decision, on the face of it. Allow a manager to spend untold millions on players and then immediately sack him. Sounds a bit mad if you ask me :Takethat:

I’d blame the new regime in charge. Some of the signings have been cr*p, no way are Fofana or Cucurella worth the ridiculous transfer fees paid. Neither are particularly good, just the one international cap between ‘em…crazy.

Apparently not a snap decision and the new owners have had concerns for a while. It’s been clear something hasn’t been right for ages there and his post match ramblings last night suggested he probably knew his fate.

Appears Boehly had no intention of keeping Tuchel on irrespective of how the team were doing, so recent results just gave him a reason to can him. No faith in Boehly whatsoever, Americans just don’t understand the game.

Seems very odd if he was never in their plans to allow him to spend so heavily in the transfer market and then sack him. Unless he didn’t have a say in the signings.

Why would anyone want the job ? It's toxic. Even if you win trophies you get the can

If someone offered you a job on mega bucks for a three year contract and you knew that you'd probably only last a year tops, but sill get paid for three would you take it?

Chelsea are such a basket case that it wouldn't even affect your reputation as a manager either so you'd walk straight into another job.

Win-Win
