Dave the plot dosent thicken really does it,maybe the plot gets a little bit silly as in this is a £2.50 flag from santos we are talking about with a few blokes sigs on it.It had great worth to you which begs the question why oh why take it in the first place.
The bottom line is that it is/was a flag,is that worth getting worked up about and calling people thiefs, well to you i suppose yes it is but i think the met my snigger when you call as will chelsea about the cctv and the swines from szfc.
I know you are a funny little complex chap but it is a flag not your wallet full of rare piccys and cash and your sons first tooth,no one has died(yet) and no one has been hurt(yet) so maybe get a new one and get your bestest buddy ron to get it signed.
Apart from that im loving this thread and i think as kay does and it was jackie and tony smith with thier szfc connections they could fence it easy and they were sitting right behind it,get the met to issuse a search warrent.
good luck.

actually he hasn't just called people thiefs. he has actually said "Not really sure what has happened to it, stolen, misplaced or what ever". He is looking at the worst case scenario which we are hoping it isn't at all.

i just hope that one day something that has great sentimental value to you "doesn't go missing" or whatever the case may be

I was going to make that point and quote my previous posts but could not really be bothered.

Thank you for highlighting what i ACTUALLY said

You have my sympathies remember going to Tiblisi to see England play a number of years ago, we had a 12 ft by 6 ft george cross with the lions rampant in 1 corner, the union flag in another and Southend United across the middle. Unfortunatley it got nicked by the locals what with St. George also being their patron saint. Sure it proudly adorns somebody's kingsize bed somewhere.

Anyway we know locals nicked our flag and would hope other southend fans did n't nick yours.

Seen outside Stamford Bridge just now...

I think we're descending in to 'Live Chat' mode now.

Could any further posts please be related to whether the flag has been found or not.

I'm off to the dry cleaners now to pick up my own flag, that I got this weekend. It had a loads of scribbles on it, hopefully they have come out.

As it goes senga i lost my dad last sept and he had a lot of sentimental value to myself and others but he wasnt really missng cause i saw him burn and my flag is in the barn along with a argy one i nicked at the world cup 98.
possessions are of no importance to me so there next to nothing i would miss, its a flag not a life or even a puppy.
Doh another stupid post that makes me look silly.

That's the point though mate.....we are all different, it meant a lot to me because of my son and because of what Senga arranged Ron to do.

I would not ridicule you about something which i did not knew how you felt about unless i knew you well.
