My wife arranged for Ron Martin to get the team to sign it for my 40th so that is the reason i am upset about it. I will report it tomorrow to the police and also i guess refer them to our conversations....not sure how it works.

I am sure that the police will pick it up on the cctv. Also sure Ron will be miffedd that its been pinched by fellow Southend supporters
 
Ahh bless. Well I'm bored of the winding up now. I genuinely hope your flag turns up somewhere.

Oh - I guarantee you that no-one in szfc would do that to your flag but feel free to have the police come and speak to me/us/them/whoever
 
Look, if anyone knows anything then let's quit the winding up and just say so. Their flags mean a lot to the lads that have them, so if anyone does know can they just send a pm to one of the mods or owners?
 
Ok just to clear up on a point and prove my innoncence i was at home in france and not at stamford bridge,that should save the police some time in their search for the missing flag.
Just 5998 to go,unless you rule out the clique then its 5988 to go,good luck dave and keep em peeled,i feel a DAVES FLAG IN STRANGE PLACES thread coming soon to a zone near you.

Are you insuating here that I have something do do with dave's flag going missing. I hope not Kay, because I take offence at something like that being said, especially as Dave believes his flag may have been "stolen". For information I have spoken to Rich this morning, who has in turn spoken to Dave.

May I suggest that in future, before you respond to a post, you think about what you are posting, rather than post for the sake of posting.
 
Just a thought here but, we were sitting in the front row of the upper tier and had flags in front of us. Half way through the firsdt half we were asked by the stewards to raise the flags up as they were hanging over and restricting the view for people in the lower tier.
Maybe whoever was sitting behind dave's flag took it down innocently or the stewards took it down and it is still at Chelsea ground
 
Ant wondered why his flag looked strange in all the photos, that's obviously why. I hope they spoke to the stewards at the ground before they came away and have left contact details should it turn up there. Anyone know how they were being fastened?
 
The bloke from the lower section wouldn't let Dave in to have a look!
 
I will phone my contact at Chelsea tomorrow Dave to see if they can help at all.
