After the disappointment of a defeat in 'the other derby' this was a gratefully received (and vital) victory. However, it must be said that Orient were truly woeful and I cannot wait to see how the local-rose tinted/unlucky my sons-media describe this abject performance. We dominated possession and territory but tired in the latter stages, lacking a bit of know how and guile in the final third. It was good to see how much the goals and the final whistle meant to the players though.

Joyce - Command of area non existent and kicking suspect.
Francis - Think two games in the space of two days exhausted what brain cells he has at his disposal, bless, but did put in a good cross for the winner.
Morrison - Commanding in air as usual but a few examples of inexperience and rashness.
Barrett - Skipper led by example
Malone - Steady perforce by 'Twiggy' but dead ball execution still poor.
Laurent - Don't think he was fit, replaced second half.
McCormack - His injury problems however seem to have gone, back to full pace and dominated the midfield.
Grant - A pest that I would hate to play against, but does seem to attract/deserve yellow cards.
Moussa - Not great, a good cross field ball to Barnard only contribution of note.
Scannell - Our out ball, pace used to good effect to stretch their defence. One could sense the boo-boys were ready to pounce on him at the sign of his first mistake, but did not give them much ammo.
Barnard - A class apart. Effort, strength and technique in abundance.
