Then I apologise Rich..I took it from some of the posts that he was fairly new and that the place had exchanged hands several times these past years.

9" is not a pizza - its an amuse bouche and I certainly wouldn't be amused if someone tried to mug me off with a ****ing canape or hors d'oeuvre.

For £2.95 I expect a lot more than a glorified vol au vent.

My take on this is that 10 pages of comment over an article is ridiculous.

Some people on here are using what was quite clearly a light hearted article and the situation, leaping to the defence of the Pizza Man in order to serve their own "Anti-Ron" agenda. We get it, you don't agree with RM and some of his actions, but this Pizza place is the last obstacle in what has been a marathon project of relocating the club to a more stable grounding. The longer we/RM/Mr. Pizza **** about with this, the greater the chance that the Stadium falls through... Thus ending any kind of hopes we may have harboured of pressing on.

Lets be honest here... The Pizza Place in question is no better suited to it's position than a Ann Summers in Saudi Arabia. It could quite easily shut down tomorrow, taking its kitchen equipment with it and starting afresh somewhere else and would probably profit from such a move if they take the offer that is currently on the table.

I am sure Sainsbury will have some kind of debenture in place over the money given to RM. Also i would be astounded if their legal team haven't put a date in place by which time all purchases need to be made or said debenture comes into play.

Could this be why RM is so keen to get the Pizza shops so quick?
