This is someone's home and livelihood we're talking about. I know I'll be shouted down but I don't want the Club bullying someone into submission. I live in this area, this is my community and I don't like these comments.

Didn't mean to upset anyone with the Domino's comment. Apologies if it did cause any offence.

We must be offering a fair enough price, based on everyone else selling up. So often with these things (having seen similar big land purchases on the TV!!!) you get one or two people who wait it out and won't sell up until they get an unfairly generous price. I obviously don't know the in's and out's of this case, but there is a possibility that these Pizza people are being greedy.

Have you tried their mayway pizza, 4 toppings of your choice, BBQ sauce, chicken, mushroom and ham lovely. As for their mozzarella sticks, they are out of this world.

This is indeed true. Now, given the choice of the livelihood of a couple of pizza outlets and my beloved football club, which do I choose?...............
.............give me a bit of time to think about that one.
I know that pushing people around to make way for a larger project, whether it be for a motorway, airport or supermarket is an unpalatable but necessary action. I don't know the fine details of the negotiations but understand that all the other required purchases have been agreed. I hope that these final two can be sorted out rapidly and correctly........if not amicably.

Those places are dumps and can open anywhere, Im sure they are being offered above market prices to move and are being greedy.

Id never have bought anything there anyway but an active boycott should definitely take place now.

Far from a boycott, I'm now inclined to get something from there more often now. Some of the comments on here puts us all in a pretty poor light to the casual observer - especially without being fully acquainted of the facts surrounding this issue.
