TBH you can't ask for much more really. if we go out and get rolled over by a team with the quaity of leeds..fair enough as long as we put every single drop of energy and heart into it. if players are giving only 60-70% then that is when it gets disgraceful

Well, in the unlikely event that Ron sacks our best ever manager, I can save a packet on a couple of season tickets next year!
Fortunately, I think Ron has his head screwed on a bit better than that and appreciates what we have got in our management team.

If we sack Tilly, I think it is unlikely that I'll bother renewing my season ticket. I can just about cope with the disappointment of seeing us struggle for so long as we keep playing football and can see hope in the performance of the youngsters like Moussa, Herd and by the sounds of it tonight, Scannell.

Yeah, he may will be, but as ive said on a previous thread, there is no room for sentiment in football. His record since we were champions is poor. Carlisle, Colchester both dismissed their managers after previous good records. They were below us when sacked, now they are above us. Orient had a great couple of years under Ling, bad start this year and gone. Forest won promotion last year, and after a bad start, Calderwood is gone. No other clubs care about past achievements, so why should we. Its the present and future we should be concerned about. The present is their for us all to see, and how can you be confident about the future with our current squad, even if all fit.

Sadly the players efforts havent been 100% all season, hence why we are where we are. All well running around a lot when youre 2-0 down at Ellan Road, but where was the effort against Yeovil, Huddersfield, Cheltenham, MK Dons, Oldham?

Apart from those horrible first ten minutes...........we've actually done quite well which, all things considered, is somehting to be positive about.

forgot to add.. and the 60-70% i feel has come from some senior members this season. it's amazing how some of the youngsters will bust a gut to try and impress, while the higher wage earners and recognised players don't seem to want to give it their all? maybe just me but thats the way i see it.
