Still a S--t Bag the way he walked out on us .

It happens all the time in football. I was angry and upset as anyone at the time. But it was understandable. He went to a much bigger club with massive potential with the backing of half of Birmingham. He was promised a big spending budget if he could double their average attendance, which he easily did. He was reputedly payed four times what we were paying him. The pay was not big in those days, so that was a massive difference in real terms to him. He was also being talked into it for over a week by his two assistants, Ed Stein and the other one I can't remember the name. Those 2 were on really tiny wages, so they really wanted the bigger money at Birmingham. Edit; Just remembered the other one, David Howell.
