Breaking News Latest news on the sale of the club.

One creditor. One. Has decided to flop their **** out. That's the issue I have. Every other creditor has kept the powder dry.

The issue now is, will any others get twitchy and start a snowball effect.

Bottom line though, this is all the Rat's doing and as such the heat needs to return.
I actually do not blame them , how long does everybody wait until The Rat has all he wants on his terms.

Disagree. When they're acting on behalf of the club they use the argument that is most likely to help their client.

When they're acting on behalf of themselves they'll argue what's best for them. That's not hypocrisy, it's doing their job.
Hmmm, can't agree on the whole. Reality is probably somewhere in the middle of our two positions. There was no need to do this now though. It helps nobody. They rejected an offer from the consortium of however much in the £, the same offer they gave to some other pressing creditors, and they rejected it because they wanted to hold out for the whole lot. Which is fair enough. But they've been told several times that they'd need to wait for the sale to complete for that. If they can't wait or are getting jittery, they should have taken the offer from the consortium. Can't have it both ways. They and we have been screwed by Ron Martin here though.

Agreed so they have chosen their way to take us to court,

This saga has dragged on for nearly 20 years(?), it seems apparent that he will never get the terms he wants, or he simply cannot deliver the terms he wants.

And the longer this goes on for, the more likely it is he’ll take everything down with him.

Be interesting to know how much they're owed.

I was calling for an official statement but this ain't what I was hoping for!

I see both sides of the argument here.

They’re owed their money & want it back. When you consider who they’re dealing with, you can’t blame them.

But at the same time, they could be on the verge of assisting in the death of a community asset, whilst only receiving a fraction of the monies they’re owed.

I get it, I just don’t agree with it.

They could be taking a view that they don't believe the deal will ever complete so this is the best way to get something

In the modern world where optics are everything, this will look bad for them if we’re dissolved and they receive a fraction of what they’re owed.
