How so? A winding up doesn't mean a deduction from my understanding
"it will be a condition of the license to ensure all new or any Football Creditors debts or HMRC debt are cleared on time to the satisfaction of the League at any point during the 2023-2024 season." From the NL statement before the season started.

The issue seems to be that CBRE (the rats so called business partner) are not getting back to the consortium in regards to sign off for the RH Land and re development.

Obviously the rat and rat junior said not to panic, but are now also ignoring the consortium and playing their usual game of cat and mouse with everyone around them.

The creditor seems to be the last of our worries, especially with the season nearing completion and the council should do their part but the situation with their finance partner is the one that worries me.

Why would they when they are up to their limit on funding him. Without full planing on the new houses at FF instead of RH i can't see how they would. Trusting The Rat over a deal that is just air atm would be ridiculous.

Depends who they are and their own financial position. It might be that they need that money or they face their own winding up order.
Stewarts Law LLP. Unlikely they are short of a few quid.

Not surprised they are chasing it. Just a shame they are the only creditor not keeping their powder dry a bit longer. Considering we must have a list as long as your arm.

You can’t exactly blame those wanting to wind us up. They are more than entitled to want their money at this point.
You say that, but the company launching the petition is a legal firm which represented the club in the past in various Winding-Up Petition matters. They argued to a judge on several occasions that the club is a community asset which couldn't be allowed to die, and for the club's creditors to be patient and wait til the sale of the club completed.

The irony of this shouldn't be lost on anybody, and it's verging on hypocrisy.

And just like that, the bright, exciting future we all had to look forward to, is once again hanging by a thread.

With the consortium clarifying they won’t pay the debt, the question is, who will? Ron has washed his hands of anything to do with this club, so it’s unlikely he will.

So in a nut shell.

They can't sign it off as no plans.

Once, council sign off plans. CBRE will sanction the sale?

Ah ok so is the debt to them a Martin personal debt or a debt the club has genuinely incurred?

Thank You, Sir.

Exactly the point I was trying to make.

Disagree. When they're acting on behalf of the club they use the argument that is most likely to help their client.

When they're acting on behalf of themselves they'll argue what's best for them. That's not hypocrisy, it's doing their job.

Backstabbing ****s

One creditor. One. Has decided to flop their **** out. That's the issue I have. Every other creditor has kept the powder dry.

The issue now is, will any others get twitchy and start a snowball effect.

Bottom line though, this is all the Rat's doing, along with the offspring and as such the heat needs to return to them all.

Sadly that's solicitors for you. There'll be one to argue any case if there's promises of money involved, and now they're just arguing their corner in this sorry saga.
