Just got back!

What were peoples views on Holmes last night?

Potential Shrimper in the making?

As in one of my previous posts , thought there no 10 (holmes) and there right back where the pick of them , with Holmes standing out with his pace , touch vision and final ball , he will defo make it into league football.

Cant for the life of me remember what the chelmsford 'end' was called though.

that's probably the Wollsley Road end, the covered terrace behind one goal.

As for Ricky Holmes, this could be his season. He drew quite a bit of attention last season (his first full one too), but was alternating between right wing and up front, and periodically getting clogged by some of the more agricultural defending you get in the Ryman!! Often we had a 5 man midfield with just Ibe up front which gave him freedom to cut in from the wing, hitting a few 25yd goals in the process. Whilst I obviously wouldn't want him to leave, it would be great to see him move up, he certainly has the ability.
