Bit of a nothing game really with (in my opinion) bradders , bailey mcdonald, zoltan standing out in a matched up side. Paynter was very dissappointing, huffed and puffed but again nothing to trouble city defenders. all the rest even foran need to start pushing for places as there was no one there tonight who I think will start on saturday.

Foran was shocking. Tommy Black was good, he has to start on Saturday.

Lokando looked pretty good too. Showed some decent touches and great passes. Despite being pretty slim, he was deceptively strong.

i thought it was a good game actually. chemlsford were really impressive. their 1st and 3rd goals were pretty special. really nice little ground. thought black was really good and also number 8 (whoever he was) he looked really good and had a great touch.

Bradbury, Bailey, Zoltan, Peggy, Black and Macdonald gave outstanding performence. Didn't think much of the goalkeeper!

Ricky Holmes no.10 for Chelmsford caused a few problems, I quite like him only 19 I know we were interested before maybe worth keeping tabs on him.

I really think Black should start ahead of JCR on Saturday, I think he would work well with Gilbert (ie he might actually give him the ball) and he has good crossing ability and looks good for a few goals - two fantastic finishes tonight.

Good finish too from Charlie MacDonald which was encouraging, but I've really lost my patience with Paynter and Foran. Both, in my opinion, are just deadwood.

Agreed on both counts ...IMO Black has been the most oustanding player during all of the friendlies we have played.

agree about black... if he can last the 90 then i would start him definitely. it's all about fitness with him and with jcr on the bench i think that would be good
