At least the "juicy" story is player bust-ups and not something about players not being paid or a winding up order etc. etc.
Yes, and the player bust ups are mostly with opposition, which I like, A LOT!

i think taking Ramadan into account, we are more likely to see Bil on Tuesday night games than Saturdays. Speaking to my Muslim work collegue, fast breaks at 8.27pm tonight (and gets earlier as the days get shorter), so tomorrow for example, he would be allowed to fully fluid up etc at half time, making it more likely he would have the energy to complete the game.
Not yet. Waiting to find out.
I'll tease it on my twitter when I know (I'm joking btw!)
Usualy like and agree with what you write/report chris but im not very happy about this. The club are performing well and it seems this is just to stir things up abit.
It was obvious Bilel wasnt happy at the end of the game but ''shocked his team mates'' is abit extreme, give the guy a break
As someone said above, players with issues like this dont need fines/punishments, he needs help that the club could guide him
I always remember sturrock stating ''Bilel is the heartbeat of southend'' take him away and.......?
How about reporting the fact we have a team that looks very capable of being promoted this season
sufcfed - Shocked his team-mates was what I was told, that wasn't my line, it was a quote.
What am I supposed to do, leave it out?
What happened after the game was very serious and had to be reported. It is also likely to be reported elsewhere too.
I'll also think you'll find that behind this story in the paper today there are three pages all about how well we're doing at the moment.
There were three pages on Friday and three pages tomorrow too.
That's nine in three days (see I'm good at maths!) and they were all positive stories.
I have also often reported that we have a good team and that we're capable of promotion but I work for a newspaper not a club newsletter and you report the good with the bad.

What about us exiles who can't get a hold of the paper?
Could do but then it still presents the same problem of people not having to buy the paper if the whole story is online.
