My opinions for what its worth...

Moshni

I dont what has happened but in general, Moshni is full of energy, spirit and heart - but too many people on here are blinkered of the fact that he is like a volcano waiting to erupt.

Yes he is a crowd favourte and gives 100% at everything he does, I admire his passion but I cant help but feel that he will cost us sooner rather than later.& I cant see him playing regularly at the back as sadly IMHO he is a liability, up top he does a job but Dickinson, Harris and Corr are obviously better options. That just leaves him as an impact player - but would he be happy with that or would be just become more frustrated and 'angry'.

It's such a shame cause the whole rags to riches story is great and he is a decent bloke off the pitch and wears his heart on his sleeve on it - but, and its a big but....it's been a whole year now and were still saying the same thing "He needs to calm down and channel his aggression".

Whatever happens, I hope he gets another chance and I am sure he will, however whatever happens, no player is bigger than the team and everyone must respect PS decisions, not give PS stick cause Moshni is liked for his last ditch tackles and flying headers.

Grant

Altercations happen all the time, not the end of the world. just hope nothing comes from it like a ban for Granty or anything. If he was fighting his own team-mates, then I would worry...

N'diaye

That name and this club must never be attempted as a partnership ever again, no matter how good a player may be

A big, overweight lump who obviously isn't wanted want here and now it looks as though the perfect opportunity to offload him has been presented to PS. In the long run, JJ getting kicked about @ Boots and Laces will prove worth it. Hope we use the money (assume paying his wages or a large contribution) towards another loanee or signing.

Ndaiye in altercation with JJ and is probably going back to Palace
No big deal.

Scenes after the game Saturday - Sturrock dismissed them as handbags
That happens quite often in football. I assume it was Grant involved, and I seem to remember that their manager had a go at him for diving last season, maybe some of the players remember that, and he was up to his usual antics which annoyed them? I didn't go on Saturday so am only speculating. Either way, things like this happen quite often and in my opinion it isn't a big deal.

Moshni went mental after the O's game and had to be pulled off a couple of O's players, the feeling is that may be the last straw for Sturrock
I don't think Mohsni losing his rag is really headline news! The thing is he has a reputation, and other teams know they can wind him up. Maybe the Os were upset they couldn't get to him on the pitch so tried their luck after the match...or maybe Mohsni thought that he would get his own back after the match for something that happened on it. If that is the case, then there's certainly an improvement, but still a long way to go!

Firstly this whole Ramadan story was clearly bollocks then so the club basically lied only to have the story broken a whole 4 days later.

Not really, PS was talking about using Mohsni sparingly during Ramadan after the Hereford game, i.e. before the Os game...

Do Tesco customers get to question the board as to why they have decided to import Spanish instead of French garlic?

Is that true? What's your source (sauce)? I want and demand to know. That's the last time I shop at Tescos.

I love the old Tescos is the same as Southend United argument.

I know I don't spend all day on a website discussing Tesco, I know I don't get excited every Saturday morning when Tesco open, I know it's not exciting when Tesco launch thief new uniform, nor when they start a new product line...

We all love Southend, want the best for Southend and care deeply about the club and everything that goes on at it and especially those who are representing our team.

Also the fact is, the club have obviously allowed CP to go to print with this for whatever reason, it was not us fans who demanded it!

The issue with the Moshni incident is the severity. I heard a rumour that he was trying to fight his teammates with a pair of scissors!!

I don't see what the big deal is? Is it just me?

So:

1. N'diaye clatters JJ, which results in a bit of a set to and N'diaye being removed from the training ground. It's obvious we made a mistake signing him, so if it means he can be released and sent back to Palace sooner, that's a positive no?

2. Mohsni goes mental at a few members of the Orient squad, after the game. Ok, another example of his passion getting the better of him, but this happens all the time. At least he didn't do it on the pitch. So that's a step in the right direction for the lad!

3. Granty involved in "handbags" after the final whistle and in the dressing room area, with a Stanley player. Nothing to see here either.

Maybe I am being a bit blasé about it all. But to me this is just a few examples of a team proper fired up and ready to battle to the death, to get out of this **** hole. I for one, never want to go to places like Accrington again.

But, if there is more to this and the players are actually fighting with eachother, then that is a little more concerning. But again, happens all the time.

Quite honestly i think after all the hype over this so called juicy it has turned out to be a damp squib of a story!

N'Daiye going OTT on JJ - Fine, he's crap anyway. Send him back to Palace.

Granty's petty row with Accy players - Ref didn't take any action, lets move on.

Bilel out of control with Orient Players - This kind of thing isn't new, sturrock knows he's a loose canon, but he's popular with fans and good for team morale. Bilel just needs control himself , that will frustrate the opposition if he can manage that!

Overall poor story and the Echo wonders why it's relationship with the club is quite often fraught.

Players in handbags on training field- shock.
Players in handbags in tunnel at full time- shock.
Crap loan player sent back to parent club- shock.

Groundbreaking stuff from Mr Phillips.

Move along, nothing to see here...

Seriously, is that it? Bye bye, Mr N'Diaye. Granty's pro enough to let him get on with it. Slap on the wrists for Bilel and use him sparingly during ramadan.

In fairness to all concerned, Chris Phillips has to sell newspapers and Paul Sturrock needs to keep a lid on things that may have boiled over. I'm with Smiffy on this though - it's a man's game and I'm quite happy to see our players showing passion. I know there were reasons for it, but if the squad had shown the same sort of passion towards the end of the season a couple of years ago, we might still be in League One and kicking off in the tunnel at the mini Lego stadium in Colchester.

I am well 'appy Bilel has tried to throw his weight about towards those blooming East London toerags! Should have set him off into the North Bank! Bilel don't suffer fools gladly, I can tell you that!

Mohsni is the biggest problem here.

Has had numerous chances and also public dressing-downs over the last year. Plus he came out pre-season and said he was going to change his ways, yet here we are again talking about his poor discipline.

I've said previously that he is going to cost us a goal/points/promotion with his antics. Yea, he is 110% committed and of course we 'love him', but some fans not looking at him objectively - just love it when he goes diving in ("YEEEEEAA G'WAN MOSH!!! BREAK HIS LEGS!!!!" etc...), or makes a brilliant last ditch tackle (usually fixing one of his own mistakes).

That only goes so far and doesnt make him a great player. He needs to temper that enthusiasm, use his passion and aggression wisely at the right times. Its worrying that he hasnt learnt yet and you wonder if he will.

My mate sums it up, saying you can take the player out of the amateurs, but you cannot take the amateur out of the player...

Not as "big" as CP hyped IMO unless he is not telling us the whole story! All 3 stories lacked any real information and the only reason we know more info about the N'Diaye and JJ incident is because a few people found out and its spread...

As for Bill, he's got to be careful as there is only so much people are going to take. When asked yesterday if he'd be playing on Tuesday he said he should do and think he even said "i cant see why not"! If he starts, im sure there's nothing more to know but if he doesn't, this could be the big news CP is perhaps prediciting?!

Time will tell and sure we will know much more by tomorrow evening and we will see how and where Moshni is involved.

Kev

I do think people are looking into this to much. Players often don't travel up, especially as we are trying to save money at the moment.

N'diaye two footed Jamal Johnson as we know, Grant is a constant wind up, nothing wrong with that on the football pitch, it stops people from playing their game if they aren't big enough to ignore it, which is what I also do occasionally...:smiles:

Mohsni hasn't been reacting that much compared to what he was reacting to last season. The Hereford home game and Orient game he had, meat heads in his ear the whole time, calling him all names that you can imagine, and he ignored it. Well done Bilel!! Keep it up!
