Gerry Adams is Sinn Fein not IRA. Discussions with these people (Margret Thatcher met with the IRA) led to the formation of the Good Friday Agreement (something that DUP voted against - and years later are holding the balance of power in the UK Parliament - strange world we live in).

That Labour government better replace the 21,000 reduction in police numbers under the Tories then if we really are going to enter a new era of street violence.

Corbyn's plans are a damage limitation exercise to get the least bad outcome whilst respecting the referendum result.
