Jeremy Corbyn's Labour

It would be enlightening to know why you state Corbyn is 'too far left'. What specifically in the GE manifesto of 2017 falls into that category?

Nothing to do with the manifesto. Too many people see him as a traitor who openly supported the IRA.

Even Tangled knows this, which is why he won’t take the bet.

Of course. But if that’s not enough to stop him getting into power, we can always rely on his supporting cast to fatally hinder him.

Suggest you scroll back to post 4,733.Ricky and I do have a bet.

Your slur about JC is just that. It's really high time you learnt to differentiate between Sinn Féin and the IRA.

Actually,Labour under Jeremy Corbyn have an excellent Shadow cabinet. When the Tories finally implode over Brexit, they'll be there to pick up the pieces.

Unlike May who has had to battle Brexit on peddled lies from her own people, written on the side of a bus

This is your opinion. I think the discussion is based around the electorates perception though and whether enough of them agree with you. I think there is a distrust of Corbyn, I also think that a large number of the electorate think Dianne Abbott in a ministerial position would be a disaster. Personally I'm not wedded to any party and would vote for any of them if they tick my boxes. I'm not anti Labour and I'm certainly not anti Corbyn, as a man I have respect for him and his views tend to come from a good place with good intentions. I'm far from convinced that he'll be good for the country as PM and I think a lot of floating voters like me think the same. I always say you should look outside your bubble to get a real picture, I will look at news sources that lean to the right and they share the same confidence in their ideals that my usual news sources do. We are all going to favour news that enforces our own world view but we shouldn't blindly believe it. Sometimes I think you buy into left wing propaganda a bit too much.

That's because the MSM in the UK is strongly biased against Labour in general and left wingers in particular.

I don't consider C4 news to be a bastion of "left wing propaganda."

Like most people, my views were formed a long time ago in my youth, modified by my life experiences.

Then those people are either hopelessly misinformed or deliberately pedling lies.

Nope. They know what what an IRA funeral looks like. They have seen who is in the crowd. Or who was at IRA rallies on more than 60 occasions.

No amount of history changing will alter their view.

Hmm I'm not sure there, I like it as it mostly panders to my views but I don't think it's representative. I'm sure a large number of sky news viewers don't think it's a bastion of right wing propaganda.

Your views are your views it's when assumptions are made about the electorates views you get a problem. I don't disagree that the MSM tend to be anti Corbyn, I just don't know how you can believe he will win an election when you acknowledge this?

In your mind maybe. Not in the electorates. Hence why they weren’t elected last time out.
Unlike May who has had to battle Brexit on peddled lies from her own people, written on the side of a bus

May is useless. So is the rest of the Tory party.

However, Whataboutary doesn’t make Abbott, McDonnell, Thornberry, Cooper et al, anymore likeable or electable.

Unless that’s Labour’s plan? Try to discourage people for voting for something, by repeatedly pointing out how bad that something would be, if we did.

That sounds suspiciously familiar

As Nye Bevan famously said: "We know what happens to people who stand in the middle of the road. They get run over."

To keep repeating lies does not make them true.

You mean like the time he said he hadn’t met with the IRA. And then invited Gerry Adams to the Commons, shortly after The Brighton bombing.

Or Like the time Jezza said he didn’t lay the wreath? Only for pictures to prove he was lying.

Or the time he said he hadn’t received any extra higher learning. Only for proof of him attending London Polytechnic to surface.

Or the time he sat on the floor of a crowded train. Only for pictures to prove he was lying.

I could go on....

No,but they clawed back to practically level pegging after being 20 percentage points behind in the polls 6 weeks from polling day.

FYI,Yvette Cooper is not a member of the Shadow cabinet (more's the pity ,IMO).
