Meanwhile, 75% of the polls issued in March had the Tories - yes, this lot, this really useless lot, led by a PM with no personality and Boris ****ing Johnson as Foreign Sec - ahead of Labour.
Jesus wept.

DUP and Boris Johnson still being Foreign Secretary despite weekly derelictions of duty are testament to Theresa May’s weakness. If she wasn’t clinging on she wouldn’t have him still undermining the office.I don't know what you're worried about....Tangled has assured us that Theresa May is a dead woman walking and Corbyn will become PM....what could possibly go wrong?
To be honest I wouldn’t pay too much attention to what is said on here. We swap information and wind each other up. I’d base my vote on manifesto pledges and ability to put those into practice rather than football forum mutterings. The last few pages of this thread have really left me with dilemma. On the one hand Im pleased that most people seem to realise that the Labour party has an issue that it needs to take more seriously. Im also pleased to see that Corbyn has accepted there is a problem.
At this point I thought I could finally see my way back to the Labour party. Maybe not immediately, but in the future when Corbyn has got a handle on this. After all, aren't we told actions speak louder than words?
However, the last few pages have reminded me that whatever Corbyn achieves on this, there will still be people that will turn a blind eye and argue against the bleeding obvious. These types of people will make me think twice about voting Labour again.

Polls – Survation who called the GE right have Labour 7 points ahead. The others who didn’t don’t. But this time last year polls said Labour were 20 points behind but after an election campaign the actual result was that they were 2 points behind.
Any Labour voter who can think back to 12 months ago will not be spooked.
I'll send him a DMYou need to tell Uncle Leo not me:winking:

Twistinhg posts again are we. I thought your original rant on 4253 about Jill Dando was because you just couldn't read properly. Looks like you were deliberately doing it.....Very lefty of you.
Ask your mum if you can borrow £100 to make the challenge or stop yapping.

Of course - if you want to base your vote on Shrimperzone mutterings that is entirely your prerogative.I'll base my decision on what I want to base my decision on if it's all the same to you.
I think she is still in place due to Brexit - no one wants to own the outcome - no one in her party or in opposition. She's been 'clinging on' for quite a while now though...makes you wonder. I know it is a point I have made before, but an Opposition, faced with a Government like this, should be landing some more telling blows.

Thanks, I had no idea I was that influential. I think activist is an exaggeration - I canvass during elections but don't have a great deal of involvement at other times.Who said that is what I'm basing it on? I'm basing it on you. If people like you will defend the indefensible then why would I vote for the party regardless of what Corbyn achieves? It's not just SZ mutterings when we all know you're a labour party activist.
I think its fair to say that the person that called it was very surprised by and wholly unprepared for the outcome. And we will all pay the price.Fair shour. It's almost as if Brexit was a ****ing awful idea isn't it?

In that case you need to realise that as an activist (whether its regular or not) your actions really do have influence. However, it's not just you. It's the fact that I make the assumption that you're not the only one, and if people like you, who simply can't see what is staring you in the face are still around, then regardless of the progress Corbyn makes I will think twice before voting...
