Jeremy Corbyn's Labour

My preferred candidate would be Stephen Woolfe...but we will have to see.

Whatever happens, Both Ukip and the Tories are likely to be happy campers in due course whilst Labour continue to tear themselves apart.

I think Woolfe is the only credible choice who meets the five year requirement. I would have preferred Raheem Kassam, but Woolfe will do.

According to Channel 4 news, Corbyn has been asked to leave the room at the NEC, but has refused to do so.

I suspect it is only a matter of time before my good friend Barna, comes out in support by way of a dirty protest.

What do you want him to say? "Well done Theresa on becomming PM, without anyone voting for you as well!"

100,000+ new members is killing it, is it?

Say something, anything, how can he possibly be what Labour supporters have been crying out for when hardly ever opens his mouth.

And as for the 100,000+ new members, congratulations, whats that now, 500,000 members now? Ok, thats 500,000 votes only 8.5 million to go to get the same result as the last GE. I'll say it again, it's not the membership that needs convincing.

JC will remain party leader as he's allowed to be on the ballot. To be honest, Eagle and the others may as well not bother as it'll be a landslide for him.

Then enjoy opposition and the slow and painful demise of The Labour Party.

The tories can now do completely as they please.

What you seem to miss is Labour was in free fall when Blair became a Tory in disguise and supped with the devil George W Bush
JC has ignited the true meaning of the Labour Party and whether people like it or not, he has made Labour real again and not for the plastic population who's number one priority is them selves and **** everyone else

If they are not for the plastic population, can we assume that they also don't back Yazz? Very strange, as surely after a year of Corbyn, the only way is up?

I'm sorry but what you fail to realise is wanting all the changes that you seem to think Corbyn can deliver require gaining power of government. Corbyn was polling at 18% on monday, 50% behind the man who is resigning today. It really is that simple, he is the wrong man.

Polls about as reliable as a Tory policy

i go back to a previous answer Greens, Liberals, UKIP cannot get into power so why have their leaders?
Its a simple belief by people who they think will suit their needs, otherwise why have different parties to voice opinions?
Can understand what you saying though , but you have to stand for what you believe in otherwise we become like a North Korea

Apart from the biggest decision in his political life. The switch to remain showed he is an utter fraud and incapable of standing up to the selfish people you mention.

So one can not change an opinion is what you are saying ?

It was not an opinion, it was one of his core beliefs. He was campaigning against the EU for 40 years.

If one of your friends who had been a shrimper for 40 years turned up with wearing a Col U shirt on derby day and said I now support them because they look like they will win............Yes exactly.

How ridiculous to bring North Korea into a discussion about the recent goings on in the Labour party. In North Korea you have to stand up for what the glorious leader believes in and not dissent otherwise something nasty happens to you whereas in Labour........actually, forget that, you win.

So why did these people decide to join the Labour Party? They had a ready made party that suits their needs. It's called the Socialist Worker Party. The only reason they hijacked The Labour Party is because they were in opposition, and had clout, which the SWP don't have. They've decided to take over a ready made opposition, and then try to re-configure it to suit their needs.

All this because of a £3 membership fee.

Now you're just being stupid.

Indesd the Green's only MP,Caroline Lucas, has argued for a "rainbow coalition " on the left including Labour, the SNP,Lib/Dems and the Greens.

That makes sense to me.
