eventually got the red out having been surrounded by Yeovil players. Haven’t seen anything about any action on that? Would it have to be in her report?
Let’s hope not as we can’t afford to have Gus suspended again.

That played a part in appeal evidence too, I think. Was outrageous. She didn't book any Yeovil players for surrounding her either. Madness. So the one thing the referee was supposed to have got right she got horribly wrong. It’s worse, as I said before, because I believe she went for the yellow initially and eventually got the red out having been surrounded by Yeovil players. Actually I didn’t comment on here about whether a red was correct. I don’t know the rules well enough- but some were adamant she had got it wrong. They were right.
I wonder if Kev will have his red for putting his hands up overturned- or was that a second yellow?
Yeah I mentioned this on the post match thread. The rules of only the captain can appeal to the ref went right out of the window. Yeovil must be brought to book for failing to control their players at that pointSo the one thing the referee was supposed to have got right she got horribly wrong. Surely she would know the laws (not knowing would be unforgivable). I think she initially made the right decision and then was surrounded and changed it to the wrong decision. Not sure that’s much better. That played a part in appeal evidence too, I think. Was outrageous. She didn't book any Yeovil players for surrounding her either. Madness.
I think it's a simple case of, by the letter of the law, Jeacock didn't deny an obvious goalscoring opportunity, so it should have been a yellow rather than a red.
Maher's was for 2 yellows, so that can't be appealed.
Clearly gets the yellow card out then puts it away under pressure from the Yeovil players and gets the red out.
Now this is interesting. Was going to be a yellow before being influenced by players, that has to be sackable?!?
Not to mention surrounding the ref is a bookable offence
I suspect given she changed her decision that didn’t make it into her report…Yeah I mentioned this on the post match thread. The rules of only the captain can appeal to the ref went right out of the window. Yeovil must be brought to book for failing to control their players at that point
It's clear to see she got the yellow card out. It's also clear to see the Yeovil players surrounded her, she put the yellow away and got the red out.I suspect given she changed her decision that didn’t make it into her report…
Nothing to do with gender. Women can be just as confident and assertive as men and I have seen some good refereeing performances from women referees- and certainly not any more prone to bad performances than the men.Clearly gets the yellow card out then puts it away under pressure from the Yeovil players and gets the red out.
She's not strong enough to ref the mens game
Was Maher's two yellows? About as far away as you can get, at the back of W block, but I only saw a red card not a yellow...That played a part in appeal evidence too, I think. Was outrageous. She didn't book any Yeovil players for surrounding her either. Madness.

On the last bit don’t hold you breath- especially given the decision being overturned. Taken together it would look really bad and I think there will be an element of keeping up appearances. Not saying there should be but realistically….do you remember Wrexham? We got done for two players going over to the assistant! It's clear to see she got the yellow card out. It's also clear to see the Yeovil players surrounded her, she put the yellow away and got the red out.
I don't care about her report, all the evidence is there to see. The NL needs to act
Yep, he'd already been booked earlier on. Had a feeling then that he'd end up getting a 2nd!Was Maher's two yellows? About as far away as you can get, at the back of W block, but I only saw a red card not a yellow...
I admit the only card I saw was a red, certainly no showing of a yellow and then a red. We shall see.Was Maher's two yellows? About as far away as you can get, at the back of W block, but I only saw a red card not a yellow...
Yeah that's a fair point in that score. Add in the fact sheblew for a foul every time Bim won the ball because of his strength I really do feel she doesn't have the skills required to referee the mens game. She had an absolute mare amd hopefully is kept away for an extended period and is given more training on the mens game, their physical strength etcNothing to do with gender. Unfortunately when you ignore gender that fact remains it was by near universal opinion a very poor display and the card being overturned is the cherry on the cake.
Yeah Wrexham and the lino changing his mind under pressure from the Wrexham players. We don't have much luck do weOn the last bit don’t hold you breath- especially given the decision being overturned. Saw he'd got the first yellow but I didn't see her show him a second yellow followed by the red, I just saw the red come out...Yep, he'd already been booked earlier on. Had a feeling then that he'd end up getting a 2nd!
