I for one am glad that the Consortium held up the takeover until they could fix the clock.

Well not quite. He’s still our landlord at Roots Hall but this is still a significant step forward worth celebrating.

COSU were never going to own RH, that will be POSU. It is also well documented that we will remain in RH on a long term lease (25 years is still the term I think) until pp for FF is granted and the charges can be released on the ground. Then the ownership can transfer. That's a long way off.

We were already tenants at Roots Hall. Will be interesting to see if the lease is to POSU or the club and whether it is a peppercorn rent or not.

A new deal was struck but very little details about that deal have emeged.
