Is our season effectively ended already?

Not at all. League may be difficult but there is still the F.A.Trophy. Will also be interesting to see how the squad evolves, particularly in the next month. Pretty sure the squad that starts next season will show at least some changes from the one we have now.

Rochdale have 2 games in hand . It’s possible but it gonna require some run. We do have home agains against the teams we need to beat. But we would probably be better off playing them away again ..
Having said that. Our Form from last 8 games.. 9 points. Gonna be a stretch

The positive spin is that we look to be safe from relegation, assuming we don't collapse.

For me we need to build the strongest squad possible for next season

66 points left to play for, so no it’s not over yet.

However, we will probably need 42 more points to sneak into the playoffs with only 22 games left to play.

However you break it down, we need to average nearly 2 points per game from here on out. Not impossible but highly improbable.

yes and no
I expect us to go on a run that gets us all excited, ( which is what football is all about) but ultimately it won’t be enough

I think we have a outside chance of the last playoff place at best, it'll take a massive effort from all to do it but it's possible.

We are lucky that we survived going out of business. We were never going to be challenging this season for the playoffs considering we started the season with an embargo.

Lets enjoy this season with no pressure and look forward to next season where i think we can push for a playoff place and end five seasons of non league football

“Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!”

It ain't over 'till it's over.

I do fancy a trip to Wembley...

Of course it’s not.

We started the season with one arm behind our back, but that is better than last season when we started with both arms and legs tied being our back.

We are 8 off the playoffs with 22 games left to play. We aren’t 10 off the playoffs with 8 to play. We still have the trophy too.

A decent January transfer window, moving on 2/3 and recruiting 3/4 should see us in a much better position.

Teams above us will lose form, and when they do, we need to hit form. Thorough out Kev’s tenure he has been a “streaky” manager, and by that I mean he has put together long unbeaten runs, and a few runs with no win in X amount of games. If we can hit one of those long unbeaten runs again, we have a great shot.

The last two seasons we’ve gone into the final game of the season with an outside chance of the playoffs, I think we may have the same again.

Even if the takeover had gone through earlier I doubt there would have been new arrivals of an ability to really make a difference. The consortium had to prioritise paying off debts and until a decent period of stability could be seen from outside the club, it's unlikely decent players would take a leap of faith. r
Bim has turned out a surprise success and getting Kendal for £1 after nearly paying a bigger sum some months earlier, (£1 permits it to be undisclosed) looks a fantastic bargain. Whilst it looks like the moncur gamble hasn't worked I feel bonne has added something and if we can extend golding, I actually feel we are a fair bit stronger than when the season started.
I don't think the seasons over if we can keep what we have.

If we are going to make the play offs, as remote a possibility it is, then Solihull are going to be the team we have to catch. Rochdale have three games in hand after today.

It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings.

We're capable of beating anyone in a one-off game but lack the consistency to string a long unnbeaten run together. So cup yes, league no not for me

On paper, we have a chance, especially with the teams that we are due to play over the next couple of months but I just don't see it in us to beat anyone in the top 10 due to our sideways and stubborn tactics from the management.

Some people seem to think that Husin had a decent game yesterday but I thought he was pretty poor and in the middle is for me where we lack any real attacking substance and will keep us around the mid tale spot come May.
