I don't think he was putting it that way. It has gone a bit quiet, so he has some point in asking for an update.

A lot of it is not Phil Brown delaying things, it's the player and the agent listening to all offers and speaking to various clubs, which is fair enough.
On the plus side is that Phil Brown is very charismatic and a good character, and quite persuasive from what I have heard. The downside is that we offer less wages than some of the other clubs. So we have to sit and wait and hope he pulls another one out of the hat.

We are only supporters though, simply paying customers. We don't have a right to an update on progress or names, we will find out when we sign someone.

There's plenty to report.... Potential trialists, potential signings, potential loans, and where we are focusing on improving the squad.

I don't think many English based players that are knocking around the leagues are unknown to clubs, scouts etc. So I doubt PB name dropping is gonna set off frenzied bidding wars for players services. Most players will simply sign for a club who's a/ manager sells the club the most and b/ whoever pays the most wages.

At present we have two strikers at the club one of which is a youth player with little or no experience I was merely enquiring wether there was an update in relation to hunt.
