Or he believes that the likes of Barker (his captain), Phillips, Harris, Timlin, Clohessy, Eastwood etc who were all at the club with him last year wouldn't be prepared to welcome him back into the dressing room.

Even if Mohsni has changed, would he still be welcome back by the squad? I'm not convinced he would.

good comment and probably/possibly true. But as I said if he actually was a changed man and apologised for his actions to the squad then they should be big enough to accept him back . If they can't, that says more about them than Moshni IMO.

I always believed that he would be back with us and there would be a happy ending , but I was clearly wrong.

Bilel wont have changed, he is a headcase who showed this club no respect and can join whatever list Nicky Bailey sits on.

He publicly said he doesnt want to play for Southend, why do people still say things like if the players accepted him back blah blah, the guy said he doesnt ever want to play for our club. He can "do one".

What a waste of talent.........Also of the money spent on him in wages etc and not going to recoup a penny of it.
Not to mention the money allegedly spent, sending him to see a sports psychotherapist whose analysis of him appears to have been spot on. IIRC his conclusion was that Bilel's upbringing and beliefs were not compatible with the disciplines required to be a professional footballer and that there was was very little chance that his attitudes could be modified. As many have said on here it's not just talent that makes a footballer......I suppose Lee Sawyer would be another example.....
for very different reasons. Sad but that's life ...........I wish Bilel luck in whatever career he chooses. Perhaps playing as an amature in the park on Sundays will allow Bilel to enjoy his football again.

loved Harris' comment "There was a mini overhaul of the squad in the summer with some bad professionals leaving and, once we settled down, we’ve been doing well again.". Spot on.

It's difficult to believe that men in their mid-twenties naturally behave like spoilt children. However, the exception to this rule is obviously footballers. The depressing rise of sporting role models of Premiership "temperemental genius'" types like Terry, Balotelli, Rooney will naturally lead to those in the lower leagues trying on the "reckless" image as a route to celebrity status, rather than focus on developing their natural ability and interest in the game. This is the category I feel Moshni falls into; he'd rather the adoration of large groups of supporters than contribute to a team performance. There could be no greater contrast than with the attitude of Britt Assombolonga, whom Sturrock has described as "a player who is constantly asking how to improve his game".

I've lost all patience with Bilel, as clearly have the management and no doubt the majority of the players who were at the club last year. It's a terrible waste of talent but what use is that if he doesn't know how to apply it properly or to behave himself on the pitch? It became a well known fact to our opposition (and even Sky pundits - "the Balotelli if League 2", as he was called by one during the Crewe playoff 'performance') that he was easy to wind up and time and time again he allowed himself to get caught out, or I suspect played up to his bad boy image.

Unfortunately he is next to Nicky Bailey for me on the list of villains to play for this club, particularly given the number of chances and attention that we gave him. We clearly should with hindsight have bitten Wet Spam's hands off in the summer when they came in for him.

Unfortunately too little was done until it was too late last season. I posted a number of times on here and communicated directly with PS as to how I felt the so called punishment for incidents with players last season was a joke. The lack of penalty, the lack of control, the poor moral example and the inability to act with any principle contributed to losing the club promotion.

I'm sorry but how can you compare Bailey and Mohsni. Whilst Bailey played for us he never really caused us any issues. Bailey is in the same bracket as Hall. Hall and Bailey both put in great stints for the club and deserve to better themselves. Ok going about it the wrong way when you want to leave but everyone wants to progress in their career and everyone wants to earn more money so you can't blame them? Loyalty in football died over a decade ago. There is the odd rare case but you can't blame people who have families. Maybe think about that when you boo an ex player, fickle fans make me sick when they forget what some players have done for the club when they come back. 'Oh this guy left to better his career and earn more money lets boo him'.

As for Mohsni he is the only player who I would ever boo because the guy has been a complete prick and doesn't deserve to play professional football. People would kill for his ability, and the chance to play football for a career and earn good money. What a complete waste I really hope he doesn't find another club because he doesn't deserve it!

I tend to agree with you but to refuse to play for your club is not acceptable in my book so this does kind of link Bailey to Mohsni. Hall as I understand it was taken out of squad by the manager and never refused to play.

If he plays for barnet I wonder who will win the race to put a big nasty tackle on him, id go for barker closely followed by Timlin

Our players would not be that naive .... they would give him a nudge , call him garlic breath + let the red mist descend resulting in another early bath + an easy 3 points !!!
