Nothing like the same but what has he actually done at all that justifies his high salary at a club that is skint?

Goals, back to back promotions, International goals and appearances, Championship experience and the fact that everytime he gets the ball 25 yards or less from goal - he still has that X factor about him.

Thus far he has not set the world alight, but don't write off Freddy Eastwood. Tomlin and Britt will hit a dry spell, we are blessed to have Freddy, Corr and Harris in the wings

Sturrocks no fool, he will make sure Mohsni is kept at distance from the squad to prevent team spirit being affected. I'm sure the players who put up with his tantrums last season, have fully briefed this seasons 'intake' about his unpredictable nature. Would'nt take him back even if we were struggling in the bottom 3. Good riddance.

Having mosh back at r.h. would be as popular as the plague ! Anyhow i think mosh will end up at barnet, ive just got a feeling but its not based on any facts mind you !

Lets get him loaned out to a side where he will get games and try and profit from it, either that or let him rot in the reserves

Bit of a shame really, 12-18 months ago, he would've commanded a reasonable transfer fee.....now next to nothing...the cash might have been handy for HMRC or towards the Jan transfer window.
C'est la vie

No! More trouble then he's worth. Loved him while he was here, but took more than he gave.
Totally delusional if he thinks he is going to do better than league one. Created his own reputation and now has to live with it.
Good luck BM, as i think you are going to need it.

So if he's done nothing like the same, it's a little harsh to club him into the same bracket isn't it? Besides, you don't even know what his salary is. All guesswork.
Yes I do and along with Harris and Martin is the highest earner. I would get rid of all three as we can't afford high paid players who are not really featuring in the side.

If Paul Sturrock wants him back then that's good enough for me. If Paul Sturrock doesn't want him back then that's also good enough for me.

Seems to me that Bilel makes a convenient scapegoat for a lot of people. Maybe he is the single reason that team spirit is so much better this year than last. I suspect there's two or three other elements at play though. But I don't know because I'm not in the Southend United first team squad. And unless some posters here have a secret identity a lot of the people on here who like to offer their opinion on this issue as fact aren't in the Southend United first team squad either.

I'm sure he wasn't the only player that caused problems in the dressing room, however the way he behaved in the close season has made sure he can't come back anyway.

Brilliant player on his day, and I do hope he finds another club and makes a career out of football. His undeniable talent should not go to waste, it just can't be used for Southend United.

There certainly was issues after the incident away at Morecambe last year that seemed to upset Bilel.
He certainly isnt blameless, but I am sure there are other ex players who contributed to the poor atmosphere

You don't have to be in the Southend United first team squad to know a whole bunch of stuff that went on that still hasn't come out in the public domain. Believe me, it doesn't reflect well and I feel like I know enough to say emphatically that he is better off out of the town, let alone its football club.

No thanks, he's a disgrace!

I'd happily boo him all game if he came back, which he won't as Sturrock has more sense than that.

Get a grip people, he ****ed us over!

Yes indeed and interesting to note that, I think I'm correct in saying, none of the players involved in that incident remain at the club. Whilst I totally accept an individual's right, through his religion, to maintain a high code of morality, that person doesn't have the right to criticise others who may not live up to his standards. The people involved in that affair were punished for a breach in club discipline and not for their lack of morality. In a team I would well imagine that you are thrown together with people of different, political, religious, moral and ethical views. Whilst one, privately may have criticisms of your team-mates, those should remain burried when you are involved in all club activities.

The Morecambe three no longer remain at the club thank god so maybe just maybe there is a way in. Very much doubt it but end of day it is the managers decision and his alone (I hope).
