Leading twice and lose 3-2?!? What a load of bollocks! ****in waste of space defence! Not acceptable!

"Found it hard to bring players in" load of bollocks! Spend some ****in money! We've got enough of it from the sale of players and decent seasons! Same old Southend ay, sell the best players and keep the money. Should have invested in some quality but no, two poxy ****in loans.

Why doesnt Tilson use the subs? I spose he'll come out and say how unlucky we were and that it just wasnt meant to be. Change the record you tosser! Never ****in learn!!!

To all the blind people out there who will come on here and put me down for all this, wake up and take you head out of your ****. The sun doesnt shine out of Southend United, Ron Martin's or Steve Tilson's **** so stop defending them!

I think if people knock you for saying this them they are silly. I am behind Tilly but what you say does make sense.

What we need is to realise that we need a tall centre Half and a goalkeeper who doesn't have his F**king boots stapled to the goal line I am afraid that we have not learnt from last season goal after goal after goal headed in from inside the 6 yard box. If you watched the Watford goalkeeper on Tuesday anything inside that area was his. When was the last time you saw Darryl do that....great shot stopper but how many of those stops are created because of his inability to come off his line.

Really pi**ed off that should have been 3 points today...

Time to drop Darryll and split up Clarke and Barrat you can only play one or the other!
 
Can't see how it's Ron's fault. He doesn't decide tactics, subs or who to sign.

I think Tilsons team selection and tactics today are indefensible although some will come on here and try. First mistake was going with clarke and Barrett at the back they are both too short to defend free kicks and corners with a short goal keeper behind them one of them has to make way for a taller centre half. Second mistake was not sorting out the right hand side of the pitch when Brighton put subs on to expose our lack of width on that side of the pitch and left Gilbert with 3 players running at him. Third mistake was allowing mark gower to play the second half of the match when he was struggling and only taking him off in the dying minutes. Naive or stupid one or the other and Im afraid Tilsons stubboness to make changes when things are going wrong is costing us big time. Last point once again the mid-fielders scored the worse thing that could have happened was Harrold and Macdonald scoring against watford youth team we will be stuck with them until Mr Tilson is man enough to change things. What was the row with Maher and the fans about at the end of the match
 
It'll be the same line up against Gillingham and we all know it.


Thing is, Sodje and Bentley will more than likely feature and both love to storm the box on Set pieces with Power and Height... So i can see exactly the same thing happening then.
 
85 min gower for Black, 85 min goal Forester,

89min Macdonald for odhimado , 90 min goal Hammond,

Thats really not great results from the substitions tilly!!
and thisnt the first time, I think subs are made to improve the team not destroy it!
 
If Tilly doesn't sort it out soon, I can see people calling for him to go ... SERIOUSLY! Me, being one of those.

Seriously Tilly, sort it out FOR **** SAKE! Defensively wrong, tactically wrong, managed wrong, subs wrong! Same old, same old. Let me guess, we was just unlucky? NO WE WASN'T. Change it when things aren't going well. Put on new subs and do things the right way!

Spend some of the cash we've got - you can't say we haven't got any - we know its there! Sort out the defending and put two people who actually will work together and put Collis in goal. We need a tall keeper who will command the box.

Tilly, the team needs to be decided on performances, not loyalty!

Sort it out Tilly. Many, many unhappy shrimpers here!
