How many years do you think it will take us to get back to the EFL and why?

I would love us to go up however it comes, but I can't see it right now.

We are a long way off of it.

In the whole time we have been in the national league we have struggled for goals.

We would really have to go some with signings in January to have a late crack at the play offs but next season there can be no excuses.

It's an absolute nightmare of a league.

2 or 4 seasons for me

Need a few addition in Jan for sure ie loans to tick us over until end of the season .

Then from next seasons we need to be sharp and get some quality signings in for this level to give us that next push

2-4 for me but as we are now nearer to 4.

All depends on the ambition of the owners, slowly slowly then can see us treading water for next 2 years at

I admire the recruitment and sustainability model. But without spending some money on quality players its going to take some incredible luck to find 7 or 8 unpolished gems good enough for promotion.

Im hoping they can strike the right balance, but they are gonna have to spend some money, as it seems 3 or 4 teams each season are doing that to try and get out of this crappy league.

How long will it take for cosu to tire of being non league and push the boat out?

2/4 seasons for me. A complete team overhaul is required with an acknowledgment from The Consortium that unfortunately the only way to get out of this league is to splash some cash…

I think were it not for rhe 10 point deduction we’d have made it up through the play offs last season, through sheer grit and determination. As it is I see us being here another 2-3 seasons. We should really go for it next season but understandably there’ll be budgets set.

Went for 2-4 years from now but that is being optimistic.

We are now on a stable footing with COSU, but if their first plan is for financial stability then we won't be going anywhere soon. Whether that's a good or bad thing remains to be seen.

My personnal view is it will take a mixture of a sound financial base to work from with increased revenue streams, combined with a realisitc budget to improve many areas of the current squad. True sustainibility cannot be achieved in the NL so if it takes longer than 4 years we will be in trouble again.

I am hoping for no more than another 2 years. Realistically I would have to say anything up to 4 years. York have taken 3 years since getting back to the National League to mount a serious challenge.
COSU have had too many must do things to achieve, gradually things that were promised are happening. They need us back in the EFL and it will happen.

Unfortunately we are bang average. We need to score more goals that won't happen until the squad is strengthened with the right personnel. So we will stay down until we improve. So it will take as long as it takes.

I think it's one thing asking how long it's going to take to get out of this horrible division but one out my concern is how do we avoid coming back down

My worry is that we are only sustainable with the crowds we get and increased revenue.

If we just tread water than we will easily lose 1000-2000 casual fans

I think 3 more years in this hell hole, this season is done. COSU need to will try and get us sustainable and update the ground for a couple of years, before realising they need to chuck a bit at it to get us out of here

How will the promotion be achieved.
Kev to win automatic promotion
Kev to win via play offs
Or a current member of coaching staff to do either method .
Or eventually with a new hire in say 5 years time.

I think probably 3-4 years, but fear it will be longer. I don't think it will be with the current management team either. I reckon they will be off if they don't get the financial backing or poached by a more ambitious club.

I think it will take about 5 years but the entire set up may well look entirely different to what it is now from top to bottom.
