It’s a start I suppose.

But over the next couple of days we need to see as a minimum:

1. Confirmation of the outstanding tax bill settled in full and petition dismissed.

2. Office staff paid back to November.

3. All staff and players paid for February (due Wednesday)

4. An apology from Ron. Not Tom. Ron.
5. All outstanding debts paid off, including St. John's ambulance and suppliers.

6. A thank you to fans and sponsors for their kind donations and money paid back to the Trust and sponsor.

7. Bookings of professionals confirmed for the fixing of key areas in the stadium where safety is of maximum concern!

Too much?

Hopefully, this reset button loan (in the interim) will flatten us out a bit and our gates coming into a play-off battle will enable us to reinvest ensuring we pay wages and have a buffer for the summer (maybe not!)

If we still have a club Wednesday, going to get my Barnet tickets BUT told my son that he can't have a McDonald's but make do with a West Stand hotdog as my £ is best used with the club rather than the McDonald's franchise!!! Poor lad
Was reading that and genuinely thought you were saying ‘if we still have a club on Wednesday, going to get my Barnet done….nice way to celebrate 👍……have a Ron special?

Surely now the loan has been signed off players have got there wages .And hopefully HRMC will be off our backs .March the 1st i would like to see the playes paid again for feb The move on .Get on to the council get the plans signed off .So boots n laces can finaly be knocked down Allowing funds to be released to build the new stadium .And with 2 home games to come hopefully the cash revenew can start to build keeping the club afloat .
No mention from you of the long suffering staff who haven’t been paid since November and are now owed 3 months wages then?

Nope. Spot on as far as I’m concerned.

RE number 7 - ladies toilets throughout the stadium should be first. Personally don’t use them, but basic standards of hygiene for our ladies and girls should be a bare minimum,

My wife dabbles in tarot and pulled 4 cards this evening.

View attachment 25151

Below is the translation of the cards pulled.

"Trying very hard to sort this and make the necessary changes, VERY committed to fixing this. There is a lot of love invested in this and I see a new relationship coming in to help this move forward. This is going to be a Co creation of something new that will bring dreams into reality. I'm seeing a wish will be granted and dreams are going to come true - I take this to mean that either they won't go under or will go into administration but only briefly, it will turn around. The reversed 3 of earth leans more to there being some disharmony in this and he may feel alone and is getting impatient with waiting for others to bring their collaboration to the table and/or he may have to swallow his pride and ask for help as things progress... ultimately see this as a Yes and an overall positive outcome but there will be some bumps along the way. I also see that he is not feeling valued by supporters, which is causing fear and vulnerability under the surface and making this situation even more mentally and emotionally difficult.

Summary - ultimately it will be ok, but there may be delays. Collaboration is going to be unavoidable."

Can your wife give us a clue when the 4th stand will be built please?

Just because the players have been paid doesn’t mean the loan has materialised. You should be able to pay your players anyway, and we have had a lot of home games this month. They could have been paid from that?
Quite a beleve the loan has been signed off .If the jan wages were payrd with gate money why did it take so long to pay it then .Your gate money story dont not add up .

If the club was to be wound up tomorrow, why would Ron pay anyone? Hes shown that collateral damage in the pursuit of his dream is fair game,
The fact the players have been paid suggests he fully expects the club to continue and doesn't want players walking for free.

Three of those are doubtful, one extremely unlikely!

Maybe not But i have had many run ins with HRMC . I am still paying back tax from many years ago .When a company i work for incorrecty pay my tax .It was not untill i got a threat frpm the wonderfull tax man demarnding i payed a large amount back .Try as i did to exspaine My company was the wrong for not paying my correct taxes ..They did agree that it was indeed a fault of the wages clerk that had made the error .But still insisted i had to pay a large sum i did not have .Did they care no im still paying it now .
I know how you feel ! I was working on a longish contract from my own consultancy business when out of the blue good old HMRC decided I should be classed on the job after a year as an employee, !! despite the terms clearly employing me as a self employed contractor
This cost me my self employed status, nearly ran me out of business and I had to give up the "employment ! in the end, Extremely bizarre, but I didnt have the energy or resources to fight it in court, even though on their own check list the contract was patently a self employed one and one which the organisation also saw as self employed

I like your optimism but in typical Ron Martin style he's doing the absolute bare minimum, so that his dream windfall of money finally comes in at the end of all this.

If he had his way than we'd be playing at Southchurch Park, players would play for free and ask pesky fans would only be allowed to watch if we sung his name throughout the game.

That would suit me more than FF. Great cafe for a meal before the game.

Isn't it a disgrace how they go after normal folks trying to make a living, and try and squeeze every bit of tax out you, even putting people in categories that they shouldn't be in. Yet the very rich can use very clever accountants and use every loophole in the book for tax avoidance.

Just had a quick chat with insolvency lawyer at work, it is possible that tomorrows hearing has been vacated if we have paid HMRC in full, we will find out when the court listings come out this afternoon, as its all been a bit last minute its possible there hasn't been time to vacate it in which case an order to vacate my be bought before the court tomorrow or if vacation proceedings haven't been done, the case will be dismissed IF we have paid HMRC in full or paid enough for them to leave us alone for the time being, he also suggested it sounds like HMRC have been paid seeing as the players have been paid, as if they hadn't we could be in trouble for trading to the detriment of HMRC by paying the players before paying HMRC

Even if he is doing bare minimum, surely that means we survive tomorrow otherwise he's just paid player wages that he could have held on to?
