Can somebody please remind me the expected time of our court case on Wednesday & i assume its at the Royal Court in The Strand? I work a few mins walk from there so i intend to go to the viewing gallery & hear it all from the horses mouth.
Its not far from the Royal Court. From Fleet Street turn up Fetter lane and its about 100 yards on the left. Was Court no 1 last time (go up stairs one level and its practically facing you). Might have to get there early as I hear there's quite a few intending to go and it was standing room only last time (and that was with I think only two Blues fans present).

HMRC being paid, is obviously the number 1 priority, as that means we have a future as a football club. I wonder if the money raised (bridging loan) is also then enough to pay the players, the staff not paid and any outstanding bills we have?

I would be massively concerned, if we only have enough money to pay the HMRC debt. As how much longer can people afford to go without getting paid?

rumour Saturday was that players will be paid either today/tomorrow. Looking at the celebration after the goal, end of match with the fans, the dressing room and coach, didnt look like a group who hadnt been paid or was it a release of tension that they have been told they will get paid. Maybe a bit of everything thrown in the match, the win and at last getting their wages

Assuming Ron’s master plan works this week, what then?

Will things eventually move forward with the development? Are we happy when that happens?

The way I see it is Ron is downgrading the new stadium development with the reduced seating and I’ve always hated the idea of this 3 sided nonsense.

He’ll still of course be able to build his new houses and flats.

Personally I think he’s still using the club and ground as pawns for his development schemes and I believe his ulterior motives means he’s not fit and proper to be a steward of this club of ours.

Regardless of Wednesdays outcome I still think we should campaign harder for Ron Martins exit.

Might have missed something but do the terms of the loan say that Ron can only use the money for specific things like paying wages and taxes? With TL in place this hopefully won't happen but Ron has a bad habit of spending money when it's sitting in the bank without thinking about whether that money will be needed in the future to pay the bills.

Player wages were first supposedly being paid on the 9th, then the 13th, then confidently predicted to be Friday or maybe today. Now its today maybe tomorrow. I guess then its tomorrow or never.

I read on here that it's the group development companies who are obtaining the loan. They will then loan some to Southend United Football Club Ltd, hopefully enough to pay off HMRC and some of the other club debts, especially player and staff wages. Will the rest of this loan also be used to bail out the various incarnations of Martin Dawn who I believe are also facing winding up petitions?

I can testify to the limited seating. One of the advantages of being Official Court Scribe was that I got the first seat available.
