Very true and I agree- but does it matter if the side effects impact Kev and the team? So its a minor matter of little consequence. Perhaps we need to let Kev know..

Why are we assuming SBC are at fault in this or incompetent? Planning officials will have a job to do, rules to follows and guidelines to work within. I don’t know any of the details but assume that whatever has been put forward by Ron hasn’t yet met whatever approvals are needed. If it’s sat with officers then it’s not even a political issue.

What I will say, is I highly doubt that Kevin Maher would confirm IF this happened, it’s not the best look, and would alert other clubs to potential availability of key players too.

I am somewhat disappointed that a player has been named. The same player was named as a target for Dagenham, and now the same player is being used for this situation. Both stories may turn out to be correct, although both have been denied by the Club, but I don’t like that a name has been put forward, and therefore some “fans” have a potential target to vent their frustrations at, because some will unfortunately.

That same player is on social media, although not very active, so has to potential to see everything that is written about him.

I saw some Dagenham fans mentioning it was actually Callum Powell they were after from us but we wanted too much money..

She is in touch with the leader of the council but i don't know about the planning officer's.

Obviously none of us are happy about the delay with the plans being passed but RM has changed his mind God knows how many times about what he is building at FF. Every time a new set of alterations go in it holds everything up.

I don't think anyone is assuming one way or another. Or maybe some are but perhaps they shouldn't be to be fair and there you have a point. There again you're assuming that whatever has been put forward by Ron hasn’t yet met whatever approvals are needed. So adding to the the assumptions?

For me, all we know is the Determination Deadline was mid 13th Dec 22 and it's a Delegated Decision to amend the prior approved plans. I think the question is why? And does it impact on the bridging loan? Surely, these questions are worth asking? Indeed we should be asking?

Now, again, like everyone else I don't know the truth. No-one on here gets it 100% right, a long term contributor mentioned 50% in this case. I don't know. There is no fact checking service on here so most will have no idea if its 50% or 75%...

It's a shame that the openness doesn't extend to the person at the club who is, it could be argued, undermining Kev and the playing side by leaking/inadvertently sharing this information (they say don't shoot the messenger). What their motivation may be?
Mention was made of very senior contacts in the club hierarchy? That would be very disturbing if that was assumed?. Or it might be a single player (in which case people might assume the one named)? I feel by your same argument some may feel that it is also our business?

People may think the detail raises more questions than it answers and yet those answers are not to be shared? Kev would probably like to know who it is? Or at least their area of employment at the club?

Problem is perhaps with all this is that often, when we talk about openness, we only mean limited openness...

But in the spirit of such openness who do you think is leaking this information? Afterall, the truth or otherwise belongs to the originator not the messenger? You might say its none of our business but if its hurting Kev and the team some might beg to differ...

Players/staff members will have bigger things to worry about. Can they pay their bills? Will they have any income over the next few months? Will they be picked up by another team, if we go out of business? Do they even have a career left? A fans forum discussing the abhorrent way they’ve been treated, is unlikely to scratch the surface of their worries and keeping the bad news quiet only serves one man’s purpose… the same one who isn’t a fan of scrutiny and accountability.

Afterall, the real undermining - a better word to use would be damage - being done is coming from the owner. Absolutely nothing that us fans do, can make it any worse than it already is.

If anything you should be questioning why this info is reaching us so readily. Who stands to gain from detailing the plight of our hero’s in Blue or the people behind the scenes? Why would someone want to shed more light on the incompetence at the top? Who wins by highlighting the sub-par standards & working conditions at our football club?

A good point. When even a relative 'nobody' fan like me is coming across info about the club without having to rely on SZ (nothing we don't already know BTW) it is an indicator of how royally ****ed off the staff are at this point.

I can't think of a bigger source of misinformation than from a "wander about and chat to people before a game." Don't forget according to stewards all the player had been paid? I think you have probably identified why there is so much of this stuff about if people are believing,,

Who do we think it is leaking this information (probably we can rule out Kev and Ron as it causes them grief - all be it in the latter case royally deserved).

The people I've talked to have never been wrong, I can't vouch for other parts of RH though.

I have to say some might be surprised at the idea that most come out as correct - for example most on here and SM don't - that said you may not be ITK but have a select group of friends that are...

Always be cautious about anything on the web. Some is true, some is rubbish and some in-between. Always think about people's motives for posting. The only facts I know is we have planning permission for FF and RH. The training ground is finished. The grass needs to grow before it is ready. It is excellent. Ron has not paid the players which is wrong, wrong, wrong. The CEO and football staff and players are superb professionals (opinion). I have no idea how this will pan out and haven't voted

To be fair, I do not speak to any of these people outside of a matchday. I really do believe that information is simply making its way round that quickly now. I assure you I'm a total nobody in relation to SUFC
